The apartment is situated in Calahonda. The development has electronic security gated entry & lies between Fuengirola & Marbella in the Mijas province and is close to all amenities & major attractions on the Costa Del Sol. With La Siesta 9 hole golf course running past our patio & pool. Shops, supermarkets, entertainment, restaurants & bars are 0.8 km & then a further 0.8 km to the beach & another selection of beach bars and shops/restaurants etc. Nearby are the towns of Fuengirola, Marbella, La Cala with plenty to do & see. There is a motorised “train” to take you around the whole of the Calahonda which takes 50 minutes & you can depart and rejoin at one of the many stops on route. The fare for the entire journey is only 2.5 euros (about £1.50) per person. We can arrange very reasonable price car hire for you, meeting you at Malaga Airport on arrival and return, or book you a taxi for transfers no hassle - good service

Extra Facilities

There is much to do and see within a short distance. Situated on La Siesta Golf course. In July 02 a fabulous sports club opened just 200 yds. from our front door, Club Del Sol, offering Tennis, squash, a fabulous state of the art gym. along with sauna's, terraces, cafe and bars and an outdoor Jacuzzi, all of which can be accessed by daily tickets. Calahonda is central to all of the attractions along the Costa Del Sol. Tivoli World (20 mins.) a major amusement park has an excellent “mini” amusement park in its grounds for the very young. Boasts a breathtaking cable car ride offering panoramic views of the mountains and coastline. There are two aqua parks within 10 and 20, minutes one in Fuengirola, the other in Torremolinos. Horseracing, African safari, out to sea dolphin safari’s and Go carting all within a 10 to 30 minute drive. The new Hipodromo Race Track is now open in La Cala (10 mins.) Also excellent equestrian facilities in the area.

All our prices are fully inclusive, whether for the apartment or a car hire which we can arrange for you at competitive prices and worry free. Our property was chosen for its location & suitability for letting for the ideal family holiday. Should you require the apartment to be cleaned and a linen laundered during your stay, this can be arranged at a small extra cost. This renter wrote to us after staying in the apartment for their second holiday.... Dear John and Maureen, Just thought I would drop you a line to say we had a great holiday. It was lovely to feel right at home as soon as we got there! Everything at the apartment was as good as we remembered and the new sun loungers were great! The new security gates make the complex so secure. The complex was very quiet - the kids had the pool to themselves most mornings. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. It's such a lovely place. Location

Calahonda lies between Fuengirola and Marbella, with its own beach and beach bars, yet is near to Puerto Banus and fabulous Cabopino beach. An everything on your doorstep location, with Gibraltar just over an hours drive and from there, ferry day trips to Tangier can be booked.

Golf Information:

Our apartment lies in well established and immaculately kept Mediterranean gardens overlooking a fairway on La Siesta 9 hole course. 872 Mtrs. In length. If you do fancy a quick 9, or 18 holes at very reasonable prices, It’s a decent 5 wood distance to the clubhouse and 1ST.tee The family can sit round the pool and watch you come up the 9TH. Fairway, and later, meet you for lunch in the club. Within 5 minutes drive you can access two 18 hole courses; the new Cabopino golf course and Miraflores and a short drive in the car offers the magnificent La Cala and La Quenta courses, as well as the wonderful 36 hole Mijas Golf courses not to mention over 30 other Costa Del Sol premier courses along the coast which are at your disposal.

What a great holiday.

Well what a great holiday we have had. The apartment was lovely, by far the nicest we have stayed in, very cosy, home from home. The complex was very peaceful and clean with a tropical feel to it. We spent most nights chilling with a bottle of wine on the patio feeling very relaxed and taking in the great view. The pool area is very lush and green, felt like we where in the garden of eden. The neighbours were friendly and we felt at home straight away. We had ten very hot days and loved every minute of it. The complex is situated in a lovely residential area with an assortment of restaurants and bars within five to ten minutes walk. We spent weeks looking for somwhere special to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary, In the end the pictures sold this appartment to us and I can tell you they don't lie, we were not disappointed. The car hire people were very helpful and punctual. Overall we were very impressed with our holiday and will definitely be booking again in the future. The owner provides good customer service, no need to worry about car hire he will arrange all that for you.There are so many places to visit that we feel a car is a must. Eileen and Ronald.

You don't necessarily need a car, but we can book you one with our man who meets you and gives you the apartment keys (NO posting them back and forth, queuing up for a car and filling out forms) We holiday in our apartment several times a year and keep an eye on things. in the past few months we have spent out on a brand new new 32" LCD TV, fridge and washing machine. We love it there too. we always get nice comments from our guests and It's nice to be appreciated!
