Terrazas de la Bahia is mid way between Estepona and Duquesa, one step back from the beach on a hillside. Situated in the heart of the Costa del Golf the apartment is set within a secure gated development with landscaped gardens & pools. The apartment is surrounded on 3 sides by a private garden & two terraces, the lounge & master bedroom suite open directly onto a large sun terrace with spectacular views + BBQ. The spacious apartment has a light & airy feel and benefits from air conditioning & ceiling fans. The kitchen is fitted with large fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, 4 ring hob, oven & grill. The spacious living room is equipped for 8 and a TV/DVD player & CD/tape/radio system. The beach, restaurants/bars & shop are approx 500 metres away, a vast choice of restaurants, bars & shops are within a 5-10 minute drive at Sabinillas, & the marinas of Duquesa and Estepona. The apartment is ideal for family, beach, activity holidays & exploring historic Andalucia.

Casares region, and its coastal village - Sabinillas - lies about 6Kms west of Estepona, and 10 Kms east of Sotogrande on the CN 340. It is half-way between Marbella and Gibraltar. Marbella and Puerto Banus are about 30 minutes drive. Renowned as one of Spain's 'white villages', the Casares area stretches from the coast into the mountains, and apart from the coastal strip is rugged and unspoilt. Malaga airport is a 60 minute drive, Gibraltar is a 30 minute drive and Jerez airport a 90 minute drive. Sabinillas is an old fishing village and although growing in recent years, it is still quite small and you can still find some of its old character. Golf courses are in abundance, the two nearest being La Duquesa and Estepona, but there are at least 10 other courses within a 30 minute drive. The Costa del Sol west of Estepona is still relatively undeveloped, resulting in open countryside, uncrowded beaches and a relaxed pace of life.

Additional information about rental rates

  • Discounts may be available for booking of more than 2 continuous weeks. Special short break rates are available at certain times, please call for details. Electricity and water are included in the rental rates. There is an additional £30 pounds charge per week, or £5 per day, if air-conditioning or heating is required.
  • Full directions will be forwarded to you prior to the commencement of your holiday. Our on site representative will meet you on your arrival and resolve any issues during your stay at the apartment. An initial booking deposit of 25% of the total rent or £100, (which ever is the greater) is required to secure the booking. Ten weeks before the start of your holiday the full rental becomes payable, including any payment for the Air Conditioning / Heating. Together with a security deposit of £100, the security deposit will be refunded within fourteen days of your departure at the end of your holiday. The owners reserve the right to retain all or part of this in the event of damage to the property or its contents.
  • An additional charge for cleaning the apartment facilities on departure together with the laundry of bed linen and towels will be made. This will be £60 for a booking of upto two people and £75 when three or more are booked into the apartment. Where bookings are for periods of more than seven days, bed linen and towels will be changed and laundered at a cost of £10 per occupied bedroom, after each seven day period. All payments can be made in either £ Sterling or Euros and can be made either by cheque, Banker's draft, or by direct transfer into our English or Spanish bank accounts (details provided on request). In the event of a cancellation of booking, notice has to be received in writing by the owners. Cancellation fees are; 0 - 60 days notice - Full rental Cost, 61 - 120 days notice - 50% of Rental Cost, 121+ Days Booking Deposit. You are strongly recommended to take out adequate Travel insurance to cover cancellation, sickness etc

The sun terrace is ideal for outside dining and is equipped with table & seating for 8 together with a BBQ and Sun Shade, in addition there are 4 sunbeds. The apartment has steps to both front & rear entrances, so is suitable for the active elderly. The lounge has TV, DVD Player, Sterio CD & Radio, with a selection of CD and DVD's to watch and listen too. The TV has reception for BBC1, BBC 2, ITV 1, CBeeBies and many others.

General: Sabinillas (4/5 min in car or 15 mins walk on sea front), has a good collection of shops for 'everyday' needs (including 3 supermarkets). High fashion and designer boutiques abound in Puerto Banus and Marbella (25/30 minutes), Open-air markets are extremely popular, most mornings. The best of them are: Puerto Banus (Saturday); Sabinillas (Sunday morning); Sotogrande (Sunday afternoon); Estepona (Sunday). A Taxi rank is available within 500 yds of the apartment, with fixed fares to all locations including airports

Leisure Activities: “The Hanging Village” of Casares, perched on the side of a mountain, is a 20 mins drive away and shouldn't be missed. There are plenty of other places to visit, and for a days outing drive to the magnificent ancient city of Ronda about 45 minutes away plus the historic towns of Cadiz, Grenada and Seville. The rock of Gibraltar is visible from our terrace and can be reached within 30 mins, a great day out and its duty free shopping! Driving south towards the Atlantic coast there is Tarifa, a surfer’s paradise and only 50 mins away. From here you can take the fast ferry to Morocco, a 45 mins crossing. For children there are the superb water parks at Mijas and Algerciras, the Tivoli Gardens at Benalmadena, the Selwo Safari park at near Estepona and the Funny Beach towards Fuengirola

Golf: A Golfer's Paradise with a fabulous year round climate, more than 30 high quality courses on this stretch of coast, including some of the most beautifully landscaped in the world. The Costa del Sol is the number one golfing destination in Europe. You have four courses within a 5 mins drive of the apartment. These are Estepona Golf, and the 18 hole championship course designed by Robert Trent Jones at La Duquesa which enjoys panoramic views over the marina and coastline. Together with the brand new Dona Julia course which is part of the next major golfing resort in the area another new course is the 5 Star Finca Cortesin on the road to Casares. San Roque Golf Club is about 20 mins away, as is Valderrama which is the top rated course in continental Europe.

What a perfect place to stay. The apartment was great, very spacious with everything you needed - even a beer in the fridge when we arrived! The pools were great - never that busy. Close to supermarket and beach. We drove to a great beach (reccommended by the owners) Every other day and the fact that we could take parasols and chairs from the apartment, saved us a fortune! We would definately go again!
