It was very good to have spent our holiday at this complex. We found the owners very helpful from beginning to end - providing us with all of the necessary information on the area - activities and local markets.
As a frequent traveller and having travelled the entire coast line during our stay, we are certain that accomodation of this standard is not readily available at any of the resorts other than Marbella and Sotogrande where the rental price is more than double what we paid.
The complex is spotless with beautiful gardens which are maintained to the highest standard - The swimming pool water was tested every morning, and the sun loungers around the pool were more than the normal plastic lounger which made a big difference to our comfort.
The apartment is exceptionally well decorated and equipped - but the owner of this particular apartment has gone the extra mile to provide family entertainment. There were 5 sets of `excellent` golf clubs which is why we booked the apartment over any other - it saved us a total of £200 on travelling costs with Easy Jet, but more importantly, it saved us the hassle of carrying our own. The golf course is on the door step and only cost us 20 euros when used after 2pm. There was also outdoor kids games and board games for our younger children to make use of - this kept them very well entertained FOR FREE...and provided us with quality family time which was the main aim of our holiday.
The owner was also thoughtful enough to have provided portable chairs- sunlounger and parasol for the beach which saved us a lot on the overall holiday. ( All beaches charge for sun loungers and parasol)
The complex is well situated between Tormenolinos and Gilbratar - Gilbratar made an excellent day trip - Tormenolinos and the surrounding areas are not our idea of a holiday - overcrowded and extremely noisy - It was beautiful to return to our own little piece of luxury at the end of each day trip, and lovely to spend the day relaxing by a quiet pool.
The towns of Sabinillas and Estepona are much nicer than the over-rated Marbella etc., The beaches are also much nicer and I have no hesitation in giving this complex and the apartment a 5 star rating in terms of quality.
The town of Casares is well worth a visit, and an evening meal at one of the restaurants on route through the mountain is a memorable experience.
