Notes to the rental rates

• During the low season change over day is negotiable but generally Saturday is preferred. Please ask.
  Rates for Christmas, New Year and Easter weeks are available on request, normal weekly rates will not apply. Also longer stays over 4 weeks are available at special rates. Our chosen currency is sterling but should you wish to pay in Euros this would be acceptable. On confirmation of booking a 50% deposit will be required with full payment 4 weeks prior to arrival together with a refundable cheque deposit of £150 against damages/breakages.

Area

Only 20 minutes from Malaga airport the apartment is centrally located whilst giving a rural feel. The resort of La Cala is just a short drive with its lovely beach, restaurants and bars. Alternatively Fuengirola provides a wider variety of nightlife, bars, restaurants, shopping,beaches and harbour. To the West the beaches stretch to Marbella and Puerto Banus with their more chic and cosmopolitan styles of restaurants and shops. To the East you can find Puerto Principe in Benalmadena. Head inland for the 'rustic' and very varied taste of Spain! Further afield there are the historical towns of Ronda,Jerez,Seville,Cadiz and Granada each has something different but exiting to offer. Visit the 'white villages' like Mijas, Casares and Benahavis for which the area is renowned. See the Barbary apes or buy duty free in Gibralter. Malaga was the birth place of Picasso and a magnificent new museum has recently been opened. Visit the castle, and shop or dine in one of the many fish restaurants

Skiing

Snow in Southern Spain? Yes, Europe's most southern Ski resort is in the Sierra Nevada's only 2 hours from Malaga. It is the Ski area with more hours of sunshine than any other European resort. Nevertheless, most of the slopes face N.E. which means the best snow throughout the whole season from Nov-May. There are 51 runs (mostly blue and red) covering 65Km and of these 22Km have snow cannons. Ski and see the sea! The Ski village at 'Pradollano' has various categories of accommodation, restaurants and bars, especially the apres-ski. In the summer you can enjoy walking, mountain biking, horse- riding, mountaineering, including all the scenery, flora, fauna, and spectacular vistas.

Golf Information:

The apartment could not be situated in a better location for the golfing enthusiasts. In view of Santana, Mijas Golf (Los Lagos, Los Olivos) and La Cala (Campo Norte, Sur) and Alhaurin over the brow. Another 10 minutes would find you in Miraflores, Santa Maria or take your pick from some 30 more not mentioned here, from Malaga to Algeciras. Visit probably some of the best courses in Europe (Valderama, Sotogrande, San Roque) and enjoy the ambiance, weather and cusine to fit, all in within 40 minutes of your door.
