Very spacious, very modern, luxury apartment affording breath taking views of the med from the very large, very comfortable south facing terrace & panoramic views of the Mijas hills from the rear balcony. Furnished to a very high standard the apartment boasts marble flooring, hot & cold air conditioning, fully fitted kitchen & satellite TV. All bedrooms have fitted wardrobes with the master bedroom being en-suite with patio doors leading onto the main terrace. The 2 remaining bedrooms are serviced by a separate equally high quality family bathroom. The gated complex is fully secured with underground parking & 24 hour security. Lifts and paving ramps allow full access for wheelchairs & buggies. The 4 swimming pools are complemented by beautifully sculptured gardens. Our main terrace overlooks the main pool so making it ideal for families to supervise children whilst sunbathing. For extra reassurance, a full time lifeguard is employed during peak season. A gas BBQ is on the terrace.

Miraflores makes a great base for those wishing to explore the Costa Del Sol, with the ever popular Fuengorolia and Marbella only fifteen minutes away. The complex is built around a very testing but very pretty 18 hole golf course. Also for golfers there are up to 30 other courses within 45 minutes travelling time. Equally for those who want a quiet less active break La Cala beach is only 10 minutes walk away, so too are a variety of shops and restaurants. Miraflores Country Club with live music most evenings is also very local. For those wishing to cook 'Al Fresco' a gas barbeque is supplied on the main terrace.

Additional information about rental rates

  • Rates are based on a family up to 4. An additional cost of £50 per person is charged for parties above 4. An additional £100 damage deposit is also required, this will be returned to you in full provided no damage was caused during the letting period. Bed and bathroom linen/towels are provided but please take your own beach towels. The above rates include cleaning of the apartment before and after your visit, however, for a small charge arrangements can be made for a mid stay clean and change of linen (for 2 week stay minimum). Cot hire available please ask for rates.

GOLF EQUIPMENT: I Have left a set of Wilson Graphite Shaft Clubs for your use, should any one not fancy bringing their clubs with them. A Cot (wooden) is available free of charge. Please let me know if you wish to have it assembled prior to your arrival. Please provide baby linen. Also, a high chair is provided for the use of, again free of charge.

Horse riding.: My wife and daughter enjoy this hobby. They have found a great trainer and horse riding stables about 20 min away in Alahurin El Grande. Details are in the apartment. Very good English trainer, at a fraction of cost of one back in England.

Restaurants and bars. : The most local restaurant are only 5 mins away by foot. Leave the complex by the gate facing the sea, walk down the hill and you will find 4 or 5 very fine restaurants try Rackets for great food and great entertainment, especially if you are served by Carlo.! Don't say I didn't warn you!! Just past Rackets are Chinese, Italian, Spanish and Indian Restaurants, all excellent and great value for money. The main shopping area is 10 mins away by foot. If you leave the complex by the gate on the extreme right & turn immediately left you cant miss it. Here you have more restaurants, bars, food supermarkets, hair stylists and an Internet cafe. The complex is on two tiers, from the top you have great views of the Mijas hills.

Other Activities: go karting, waterpark, retail park.

A great holiday location

We stayed at this appartment and it was out of this world the views were amazing from the terrace overlooking the sea and pool area. The complex around the appartment had all the essentials in terms of shops and restaurants.
The area was very peaceful and only a very short distance to the main night life.
The appartment was extremly clean and had all the ammenities needed to enjoy your holiday whether you stay in or go out.
The locals were very helpful and the food amazing, if you like sea food your in for a treat. We decided to hire a car from Malaga airport this is something I have not done before, but finding Mijas Costa is very easy. You have so much more to do with a car as you are in close distance to places such as Mijas and Gibralta, Gibralta is a must the experience with the monkeys is breath taking. You have the option to go up the mountain via lift or mini bus but from our experience the mini bus gave us so much infomation about the history and local culture.
All in all I would highly recommend this appartment and mijas Costa. Thanks for the great stay and all the help with our stay we have recommended you to many of our friends. Thanks Adam

Very comfortable and relaxing place to stay

Apartment is exactly as described, it is very clean and comfortable which is essential when travelling with young children. Area felt safe and secure. A car is essential for getting around, although there are a couple of restaurants and shops within 10 minute walk.

Took us just under 25 minutes to get from the airport, it is 10 minutes to Marbella, 15 minutes to Puerto Banus and about 1 hour to Ronda so location is also spot on if you want to explore.

if you are a keen golfer it is also ideal, Miraflores is ideally positioned within numerous golf courses.

Overall a very enjoyable break for us and certainly a place I would look to stay in again when we return in the future.

First Class Apartment

You only need to take a look at how often this apartment is booked to get an idea of what great value and excellent facilities it offers.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and memories of sitting on the large balcony over looking the Med will stay with me for a long time.

Gerry is extremely helpful and approachable and you really should have no concerns over any of the arrangements. The apartment itself is clean and spacious and has everything you could possibly want included. The area has many wondeful places to explore but for this you will definately need a car. If you are not very good on your legs the walk up the hill to the apartment from the bottom is steep, very good for walking off the evening meal before settling down!!

I cannot really think of any aspect of our holiday in this apartment, which I did not find enjoyable.

A comfortable two weeks at Miraflores

The description of the property was accurate and consequently we were not disappointed with what we saw.
The property was clean, well equipped and very spacious. The living room furniture was comfortable as were the beds. The kitchen and utility areas were adequate and the standard of crockery, cutlery and glassware was excellent. The pots and pans were OK but for those who like to 'cook in' a few more casserole dishes would be welcome.
Bed linen and towels were changed after the first week and the cleaning/maintenance people (Gloria and Chris) were very efficient, friendly and readily available.
Outside maintenance of the public areas (corridors, stairs, lift and swimming pool, etc.) was good and the gardens were well cared for and attractive.
Garaging facilities were also good, with a designated parking space allocated in the underground car park and lift access to the appartment.
Nearby (5-10 minutes walk) there are plenty of restaurants available together with supermarkets and a bank.
The beaches at La Cala and Cabopino are clean and well served with beach bars and kiddies play areas.
Although a car is not essential, there is a good bus service on the main road, to fully appreciate the area it may be desirable. As Miraflores is built on a hillside walking can be a bit strenuous especially if you are carrying shopping (wine and beer do weigh a lot!). The owner provided a very good service, the keys, directions and general information arrived in plenty of time before our departure. He was also very approachable on the phone. We specified that we required a cot and high chair for the first week and this was available for us on our arrival. Also to our supprise there were a few kiddies toys (bucket, spade, balls, etc.) which our grandson was able to use. Television reception was good with UK channels available. CD player OK and some DVDs available to play. To get the sun in the morning on the balcony and also sun in the evening on the corridor by the front door was also a bonus.
We would definitely recommend this property to friends and indeed we would hope to use it ourselves in the future.

May 2008 - Our Ruby Wedding Anniversary

We decided on an away from it all holiday to celebrate 40 years of marriage. The apartment was everything that is described and more. The complex was so clean and well maintained and the on site staff very friendly. The golf course is within walking distance although I did not play this time, I will be back. The ease of booking over the internet, and the prompt responses from Gerry were most appreciated. We had a hire car which we picked up at the airport, and I would recommend that a car will make all the diferance to your holiday.
