This is an ideal location for families and golfers, with a large shared gated pool area which is cleaned daily and is complete with lifeguard(summer months only). The lounge has fabulous uninterrupted views of the golf course. There is heating and air conditioning, marble floors, a kitchen with all mod cons including a dishwasher and washing machine. The apartment is equipped with Satellite TV(including Sky Sports and movies). It is luxuriously decorated and the west facing terrace is superb for al fresco eating. There is a lift and secure underground parking. The block is peaceful, and a few hundred yards from the luxury Byblos hotel, which has restaurants and a spa and beauty center. The apartment is under 30 minutes drive from Malaga airport and a great holiday destination

Mijas golf is located approximately 3 km from the town of Fuengerola and is a 25 minute drive from Malaga airport. The area is very well serviced by beaches, golf clubs and restaurants. It is located below the actual village of Mijas. If you do not wish to rent a car- you can get the train to fuengirola( 5mins away from apt in taxi) . There is a train stop located in the airport. This is extremely cheap (€1.85 per person) and is a very good way to travel to the apartment. There are a number of restaurants located within walking distance of the apartment as well as the golf club which serves food until 7pm in the evening. Fuengirola is a lovely town which has many shops, restaurants and pubs.

Local activities diving, surfing, swimming, tennis, walking, sailing, cycling, fishing, horse riding, golf, wind-surfing, water skiing, mountain biking, mountaineering

Entertainment

There is a wide range of water based activity available within 10 to 15 minutes of the apartment, and a range of lovely beaches. Cabopino beach has many tasty restaurants and both lively and peaceful bars. There is a water park within five minutes drive from the apartment in Fuengirola at the N340 junction. Marbella and Peurto Banus are approximately 20/25 minutes drive down the motorway and they offer high quality shopping. There are literally hundreds of lovely restaurants within easy reach.All these amenities make Mijas the ideal holiday destination for any type of holiday!

Golf Information:

This is a fantastic location for golfers as it is within driving distance of some 50 golf courses in the Costa del Sol area. Reasonable rates are available off peak periods, with good value all year round golf available from a range of courses. It is well worth playing the two Mijas courses. The Los Lagos course with its several small lakes offers more challenge than the Los Olivos course, which, while still being challenging, is a little more forgiving. There are several other quality golf courses nearby such as La Cala, Rio Real, Miraflores, Alhaurin, Cabopino Golf to mention a few.
