La Hacienda De Mijas Golf is located 25km from Malaga, 9km from the old town of Mijas, 20km from Marbella, 27km from Puerto Banus, as you can see very central to the Costa Del Sol. Transfer time from the airport is around 20 minutes, the complex is very easy to find, just off the N340 from Malaga, you turn right and you then follow the Mijas Golf Road for about 5 minutes and the complex is on the left hand side. I can send you a google earth file that will show you the virtual drive from the airport, amazing!! 3.5 miles from the beach

This apartment was one of the best apartments we have been to, the complex itself was very peaceful. we feel that it is worth hiring a car to get about as there is pleanty to do and see around the area.

Peaceful - Relaxing - Charming - Fun - Gastronomic

We arrived at midday on the 25th June and found that the road was closed through to where the apartment was situated due to a new road being constructed. I contacted Heather who gave me alternative directions which were spot on. She carried (pulled) the cases to the lift and up to the apartment and gave us lots of good advice about the area. We had this same sort of communication with Drew and Cathie who were always available to answer any queries that we might have.

The apartment itself was really nicely set out and had everything that you could possibly want and more than you would generally expect from a holiday apartment. It was clean and well furnished and the balcony had the sun all evening and was a wonderful sun trap. We have two young children, Keira (3) and Joshua (4 months) and although Josh can't express himself many of the photos we have of him show his big beaming smile. Keira loved it in the pool and despite our concerns about her swimming ability was happy in both the small and the larger pool. The grounds are well maintained and the amenities on the front of the complex can provide you with all you need for your stay. The complex itself is fairly central to any of the local attractions/resorts and so makes a superb location to stay on holiday. We spent our time at the La Cala "Town" which had a lot of excellent restaurants "El Gusto" was superb. It also has a lovely quiet beach which is great for the kids.

Reluctantly we had to leave the keys behind and come home today and so we are feeling a little deflated. We absolutely loved this holiday and would definitiely recommend this apartment to anyone who is looking for a quiet holiday with the option to liven it up if you wish with the proximity of other resorts and attractions (Parque Aquatico Mijas is great we went three times). The apartment is really well looked after and if Drew and Cathie ever think of selling we would like to be on the list of interested parties. Thanks guys for sharing your apartment with us, we hope to be back again in the very near future.

The appartment is of a very high standerd, with everything you can think of, the grounds are very clean and safe,nice pools.
A car is essential to get around.

Great relaxing break

Arrived around 1:30 am due to flight delay and even at this hour, the welcome was great (from Heather). Complex is a reasonable size but quite quiet at all times and with two pools at either side, there is always a good spot to be had! Handy small supermarket on site and apartment itself is well maintained (and clean) with all you need for a 'switch-off' break. Balcony is a great suntrap in the afternoon through to sunset if you fancy a bit of privacy. Good to have a car to get around and secure underground car park keeps it cool through the day. Quick communication, advice and assistance before, during and after from both the owners and the on-site management made this the most hassle-free holiday experience we've had.
Great value, will definitely return and use again - probably for longer if we can!

Excellent welcome. Friendly and helpful management team on site - nothing is too much trouble. Lovely complex. Extremely clean and tidy. Peaceful location with a host of great amenities. Great apartment with every home comfort you could wish for. They have thought of everything. Very clean with quality fixtures and fittings - these owners take a real pride in their apartment, as I hope others staying there will continue. Great value for money. Would definitely return. Location is good with a friendly bar and shops very close by. Highly recommended whether it be for a weekend away or a week or two relaxing. Would like to thank everyone involved for a smooth and hassle free break. Book with confidence.
