Our modern 1st and 2nd floor self-catering, luxury apartments are in prime positions at Duquesa Suites which is situated in an elevated position with sea views and surrounded by an 18 hole golf course. Only 1km from the beautiful and secluded Puerto Duquesa halfway between Marbella/Puerto Banus and Gibraltar which are both just 25 minutes away. The apartments are 15 minutes walk to the marina, bars, restaurants, shops and beaches. They have high quality marble floors throughout and are fully air-conditioned (hot and cold) in all rooms. Each has a well equipped kitchen, with cooker, hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, toaster and kettle. The utility rooms have washing machines. The lounge/dining rooms are well furnished with dining table for 6, two sofas (one of which converts to a good quality double bed), TV (Satellite for BBC/ITV) together with a DVD/CD Player, with patio doors leading onto an extensive SW facing terrace equipped with table, recliners, chairs and foot stools.

The apartments location was selected very carefully, being in a quiet and elevated position with views of the sea, surrounded by Duquesa Golf Course. There are lively bars and restaurants around the Marina about 15 minutes walk away together with all essential shops including a small supermarket, newsagent, internet cafe bank and gift shops. Puerto de la Duquesa is known as the new Golden Mile on the Costa del Sol. It is ideally located midway along the coast between Gibraltar and Marbella/ Puerto Banus each 25 min drive away.

The nearest beach spans both sides of the marina, on one side to the village of Sabinillas (20 minutes walk via the promenade) and on the other to the fishing hamlet of Castillo Duquesa. Sabinillas has a wider variety of shops including 3 larger supermarkets. The resort of Estepona is a 10 minute drive away with many shops and a large hypermarket and a long promenade and sandy beach. Inland you will find Casares and other attractive white towns in the mountains

  • This apartment is suitable for golfing parties or relaxing to escape the UK weather misery. A £150 (150 euros) deposit will be required per week to secure a booking. The full balance becomes payable 6 weeks prior to your arrival date together with a refundable damage/key deposit of £150 (200euros). The prices quoted are for 4 guests sharing the apartment but if an additional 1 or 2 stay, a small surcharge of £25 per week will be charged. to cover extra costs of cleaning linen etc. Further information can be obtained from the owners.

Golf: The area between Gibraltar and Malaga is a paradise for golfers with over forty courses to choose from and indeed the apartment is surrounded by Duquesa Golf Course. This course has all that an expert or amateur player needs. It was designed by the world renowned and prestigious Mr Robert Trent Jones. Located as it is with views of the sea and mountains, this course enjoys a well deserved reputation. there are other superb golf courses within 15 minutes of Duquesa and these include Estepona, San Roque, Sotogrande and the world famous Valderraman. Golf prices and other information about the courses can be obtained in the Port.

Alternative Travel via Seville/Jerez: There are now cheaper flights to Seville (2 and half hours driving time to apartment) and Jerez (1 and half hours driving time to apartment) . Also gives opportunity to explore Seville, Ronda and Andalucian mountains. More advice can be obtained on how to structure such a trip by contacting the owners.

Off season take advantage of low cost, Easyjet, Monarch and Flybe flights into Gibraltar and Malaga as well as Rynair flights into Jerez and Seville.

Holiday in Puerto de la Duquesa

We spent 11 wonderful days in Puerto Duquesa, great weather, and visited a lot. We enjoyed very much the apartment which was well equipped and comfortable, as well as very calm. We had breakfast on the terrace with a marvellous view over the garden and the sea... We really enjoyed it!!
The description was accurate, the appartment very clean.
Puerto de la Duquesa is rather English than Spanish, which is quite surprising for travellers from France who are looking for Spanish food and traditions... We visited Ronda (very interesting) and some typical white villages.
We will come back!!

fantastic apartment

Having looked at many rental properties the photographs of 335 stood out for me and they didn`t disappoint ! Clean, spacious, fully equipped to above standard, beautifully decorated with stunning views, the pools are extremely clean and the ornamental gardens are a good feature, breakfast on the terrace every morning was one of our highlights and the port 10 mins walk down the hill is delightful with plenty of great restaurants and bars but 5 mins down the hill is a wonderful cafe bar called kelly`s the food is outstanding and reasonable priced with friendly helpful staff, this was one of our best holidays and will definitely be booking again!
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children

excellent séjour a duquesa suites. l'appartement est très confortable, très bien équipé et propre ( ménage assuré 1 fois par semaine)
la terrasse avec vue sur la mer c'est très bien
de plus les 2 piscines permettent de bons moments de détente
la plage est spacieuse mais l'eau est un peu fraiche ( peut être la proximité de l'atlantique)
les visites intéressantes et pas trop loin : gibraltar ( pittoresque), ronda, marbella ( le vieux village)
un peu plus éloigné ; antequera, séville, cadix et si on a le temps grenade
le seul petit inconvénient de duquesa est que c'est une station où beaucoup de restaurants sont axés sur le tourisme anglais on a pas toujours l'impression dêtre en espagne.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Families with Young Children

Puerto de la Duquesa est un endroit idéal pour une base car il ya tellement d'endroits intéressants à visiter si vous préférez voyager plutôt que de profiter du soleil sur notre magnifique terrasse ou paresser autour des piscines du complexe.

Les vacanciers britanniques ont tendance à manger dans les nombreux restaurants et bars dans le port, mais si vous visitez Sabillinas qui est un couple de minutes en voiture de Duquesa Suites et où les principaux supermarchés sont situés, vous trouverez une atmosphère totalement différente. C'est là que toutes les personnes locales espagnoles vivre. Les plages sont superbes et la promenade est aussi plein de restaurants de plus pour le marché européen.



We were very pleased that you enjoyed your stay in our apartment and that the apartment had everything that you required.

Puerto de la Duquesa is a perfect place for a base as there are so many interesting places to visit if you prefer to travel around rather than soak up the sun on our wonderful terrace or laze around the swimming pools on the complex.

The British holidaymakers do tend to eat in the many restaurants and bars in the Port, but if you visit Sabillinas which is a couple of minutes drive away from Duquesa Suites and where the main supermarkets are located you will find a totally different atmosphere. This is where all the local Spanish people live. The beaches are superb and the promenade is also full of restaurants catering more for the European market.

Great Location

The apartment was great. We loved the grounds of the complex, very neat and well looked after, also the excellent and friendly security. The mid stay clean was superbly done and was a pleasant surprise as we had forgotten about it. We also liked the more laid back atmosphere of the area and it was perfect for a day trip to Gibraltar, Tangier and a number of those ‘white’ villages in the mountains. Estebona was also a new and pleasant discovery for us. Wide selection of restaurants nearby and plenty of well stocked supermarkets.

The security guards are there for the safety of all the community and do an excellent job partrolling the whole complex checking to make sure both guests, owners and properties are safe. On a two week rental we find our renters all seem to appreciate having a mid clean and linen change, which in the majority of rentals is included in the rental price. The location of the apartment is perfect as it is so close to all the facilities yet just being 1km from the Port allows you the balance between the peace and quiet of the apartment and the bustling Port with its restaurants and supermarkets. Gibraltar is only 25 minutes away in the car. Makes a good day, but at busy times of the year might be worth leaving your car in La Linea and walking across the border. Don't forget to take your passports! Estepona has a lovely Port and great street markets twice a week and the best white village to visit is Casares.
