Puerto de la Duquesa is located between two great tourist centres of Marbella and Sotogrande and is the Costa del Sol's best kept-kept secret, located within easy reach of the airports of Malaga (50mins) or Gibraltar (30mins). Local shops & a highly recommended restaurant (Red) are within a 5min walk, a stroll down to the marina/beaches will take approx 15mins. The marina is flanked with fine sands and clean and crystalline water beaches which have been awarded with the European Blue flag status. For golfers there is the Robert Trent designed Duquesa golf and country club which boasts an 18-hole course, which features wonderful sea and mountain views, 3 tennis courts, snooker & covered swimming pool. The apartment will be professionally cleaned and fully prepared before your arrival. All bed linen, luxury bath/hand towels, bath mats, tea towels etc.. will be provided, just bring beach/pool towels. Travel cot hire, A welcome grocery pack or Mid stay clean/linen change can be provided by our local managing agent at a small additional cost, please enquire at time of booking
  • We boast total flexibility on your changeover day, arrive any day you choose (subject to availability). We do not ask for a security deposit.
  • Longer term rentals are also welcome with generous discounted rates depending on the length of your stay, full details available on request.

Car Hire: We can highly recommend a Malaga airport based car hire company that provide an excellent 'Meet and Greet' service at the airport arrivals (with no queuing to pickup your car) and will meet you again for your departure, they have a good selection of quality cars and we have negotiated highly competitive rates for all our clients, full contact details will be provided on request.

Golf: Andalucia is the home of over 60 Golf courses and with over 30 of these located on the Costa del Sol, the local area has become known as the 'Costa del Golf'. This region boasts an excellent climate and long hours of sunshine which offers year round ideal conditions for a round of golf. With Duquesa fast becoming a favorite with golfers due to the close proximity of some of Europe's finest golf courses, combined with the beautiful setting of Puerto de la Duquesa you have the ideal location. Our local course which boasts an excellent country club is a championship 18 hole Robert Trent Jones designed course which winds it way around the El Hacho beacon hill with stunning views of the Mediterranean, Mountains and across to North Africa / Gibraltar. Other courses that are within 30 minutes drive from Duquesa are: Valderrama, San Roque, Sotogrande, Alcaidesa & Estepona to name but a few. You will also find local golf magazines in our apartment which we hope you will find of interest.

We loved spending the week at your aparment.

Felt extremely 'homely' and had eveything we needed which is very rare.

In an excellent and beautiful location.

Restaurants at the port all have brilliant reports and the locals were really friendly.

We look forward to returning again next year so we can explore the area a bit further.

Just to say thankyou for our very enjoyable and relaxing stay at your apartment, we found it very clean and everything we needed during our stay was availible.

We very much liked the local restaurants and bars, eating out every night. The best part was their location, just a short walk away from the complex.

We spent our days either enjoying the sun at one of the very good sized pools or taking the short walk to the beach and harbour, which suprisingly were never too busy or crowded.

Also found the location perfect for a leisurely day trip to Gibraltar.

Thanks again and looking forwrard to visiting again.

So good we came back again!

This was our second stay in this apartment. This time we went during the summer expecting it to be much busier but were pleasantly surprised at how quiet and relaxing it was in the area - even near the height of summer.

There was plently of room in the 3 pools. Sometimes we even had a pool to ourselves!

The grounds are well kept, the location is far enough from the noise and bustle of the town and main road but not so far up the hill to make walking to the beach or town too much of a chore (although the very first part of the hill is quite a climb :) )

The apartment itself is clean, well equiped and comfortable and provides a good value base for a holiday.

There is a nice courtyard just round the corner with a few shops - bars, restuarants and a deli. The port is in walking distance and there are numerous bars and eateries there, as well as a small supermarket.

There are a number of larger supermarkets within driving distance.

We had a fantastic week at this apartment and would definately think about going for a third time soon.

"We enjoyed your apt, it was so well equipped. We did not want for anything! We really enjoyed the terrace it was wonderful and the view was spectacular. The pools and gardens are so well kept. Everything was so nice and clean when we arrived. The property was kept very nice Our weather was absolutely perfect!"............
