Set in 180 acres of Olive and Almond trees, Padre Aviles is a traditionally restored convent dating back to the 17th century. It´s rural and tranquil setting, stunning views over the Mediterranean sea and easy access from Malaga airport offers the perfect 'get away from it all holiday'. The property offers 2 self catering luxury apartments sleeping 4-5 in each and can be rented as one or individually. The 22m swimming pool boasts a large shallow end ideal for children, and 2 tennis courts. Ideal for nature lovers, walkers, golfers, tennis players, painters and families. It´s great location offers a variety of choices. 30 minutes from Malaga International airport. The beach and beach front restaurants are 10 mins away, Malaga centre is 20 mins away and all the major towns such as Granada, Ronda, Seville, Cordoba and Tarifa are all within easy access. The owners speak fluent French, English and Spanish. Claire can also provides homemade meal and your first supermarket shop.

The Jasmine suite comprises of 1 large double room with an ensuite bathroom, over looking the mountains, and has French doors giving direct access to the swimming pool, and a large twin room which can sleep up to 3 also with an ensuite bathroom. The open plan lounge, kitchen and dinning room have French doors going out onto a large terrace with teak furniture and a BBQ, and over look the pool and the sea. The suite has a wood burning stove for those cosy winter nights, as well as heaters, a DVD player and a stereo. It´s great location makes you benefit from the typical spanish setting of the property. The very spanish white washed village of Olias is just 1.5km up the road and another 6 kilometres north will take you to the 'Montes de Malaga', Malaga´s national park. The property is 20 minutes from Malaga city centre with it´s Picasso museum and the Alcazaba. 10 minutes from the beach and there are 3 golf courses within 15 minutes. 15 minutes from Frigiliana. And all major towns such as Granada ( 1 hr), Ronda (1 hr), Seville (2 hr) and Cordoba (2 hr) are all within easy access.

Ski: The Sierra Nevada (Granada) is 1 hr 1/2 away, door to door. So why not enjoy a full days skiing and come back to have a drink on the beach to watch the sunset!

1) Sold to a party of 4 for 2005. A 6 day break felt like six weeks. Thank you for the complete make over.

An ancient charming convent
with great views of the sea,
is were we have come to holiday, and found the perfect hosts....

The apartments are resplendent,
the pool heaven sent,
and Claire and David`s welcome
is quite magnificent.....

Now it is time for adios
to Padre Aviles,
but we don´t want to go,
we are leaving quite depressed.....

But in the words of terminator,
we´ll be back next year
for tennis, fun and pool side fun
for our glass of sangria,
below the dazzling bouganvillia....
