This is a beautiful old building, once a country school for the local children, and now offering comfortable and very peaceful accommodation in a rural setting as a Bed and Breakfast guest house. It consists of three rooms, two doubles with kitchen units and one twin (there is no kitchen in the twin room, but it does have a fridge and a microwave plus tea/coffee making. All rooms have bathrooms and terrace areas. The old school hall, with an amazing cross-beamed roof and fireplace, is both the breakfast room and a room to relax and eat in for all our guests. The gardens offer a very private place to relax in, sunbathe or barbecue. Enjoy the pool, outdoor table tennis and a large trampoline for the kids! Animals are welcome. JUST 10 MINUTES FROM THE COAST AND 'BAVIERA GOLF' CLUB. Book your golfing sessions through us and we can offer you a discount on Golf Club rates! Drive just 10 mins inland for mountains, Lake Viñuela and many white-washed villages to explore.

Escuela La Crujia is set in the lush, tropical valley of Vélez-Málaga, just 10 minutes from the coast, surrounded by mandarin, avocado, lemon and mango groves. Because of its location, it benefits from a mini tropical microclimate which means warm temperatures and good weather for most of the year. It is set back from the hussle and bustle of the coast, in a rural and peaceful setting, and yet is easily accessible. The historic Moorish town of Vélez-Málaga is just 3km from the Escuela and has plenty of shops, bars and restaurants. Torre del Mar is the nearest coastal town, a real Spanish coastal town with plenty of life for all ages. The beach bars are a must in the summer! Nearby are Nerja, (20min) a pretty and popular holiday destination and the rocky coast of Maro beyond, with its secret coves and quiet beaches. Drive just 5 minutes inland and walk the shores of the magnificent Lake Viñuela, and there are many whitewashed villages and mountain trails to explore too.

Wir haben 2 Wochen in der Escuela verbracht und es hat uns super gefallen. Die Zimmer sind ausreichend groß, das Frühstück schmeckt sehr lecker, die Zimmer werden gereinigt und die Hausherren sind sehr, sehr freundlich. Pool ist super, man hat Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in der Nähe (nur mit Auto) und ist in en paar Minuten am Meer. GERNE WIEDER!!!
