The pretty spacious house is centrally situated in quaint village of La Cala. It is only 90 paces from the beautiful sandy beach and a few steps more from all the shops, restaurants-about 40, bars-numerous, and even the local Saturday outdoor market are all within stumbling distance, a real bonus!! The ground floor has a dining room and lounge, with Sky digital TV, and VCR. The kitchen is well equipped. Patio doors lead onto the barbecue area, which is great fun. The downstairs bathroom has a large walk in shower, this makes the property suitable for disabled/wheelchair holidaymakers, along with the front entrance to the house being easily accessed, and in fact the village of La Cala is almost flat. The first floor has 3 bedrooms- a double, a twin and a bedroom with a single bed and bunk beds. The bathroom has a bath and a shower. There is a sheltered sun terrace on the roof with sun loungers. The house could not be better situated with the beach and village center being so, so close.

La Cala is now thought by many to be one of the most sought after areas on the Costa-del Sol, it was once said to be the coasts ‘best kept secret’, however word has now spread!! It still has the uniqueness of a Spanish Village with a school, church & family run shops & restaurants, yet has certainly moved with the times, with a supermarket, swish restaurants and bars and hotel. There are also banks and a bureau de exchange. If you do fancy exploring the coast a superb bus service is available, taking you to all parts of the Costa-del-Sol, so a car is not a necessity, and there is plenty to do in La Cala There are many new properties springing up on the outskirts of the village but none enjoy the enviable position of this house; it was built some 25 years ago and the properties built at this time now enjoy prime position close to the sea and village facilities. Over the years the house has been constantly refurbished and an extension was added 5 years ago along with a new kitchen.

Notes: You will not be disappointed with your choice of house and location, as La Cala is the only village on the Costa-del-Sol, which is right on the coast. Properties in La Cala, that are near to the beach are 'like gold'; however, it must be pointed out, that the house is not too close to any bar or restaurant that would spoil your peace, as they are a minute or so walk away. The house is extremely tastefully and comfortably furnished, with digital Sky TV, which has a full family package. There are also some films to watch and cartoons for the kids in the small video library. Towels, tea towels and bed linen are provided but please bring your own beach towels.

Myself and my family stayed in May 2007, had a wonderful week. The house is in a great location with the nearest bar a minutes walk! The street is very peaceful, my 2 year old was never woken by noise. House lovely and clean, loads of towels.Would return like a shot!

Stayed in this house for 4 nights with 3 friends for a golf break. Excellent condition, very clean and everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Location is very good. Just outside the town centre to be quiet but only a 5 minute walk to the bars etc in the evenings.Would recommend to families or a group of 4 golfers.
