Las Adelfas is a modern spacious villa on a quiet urbanisation, enclosed by superb private garden, set amidst the fantastic mountain scenery of Southern Andalucia. Beautifully furnished with open plan accommodation on the ground floor, opening on to shady terrace and private pool. Close to the typically Spanish towns of Coin and Alhaurin el Grande. Only 30 km from Malaga Airport, with easy access to Mijas, Marbella and the coast. Good shops and restaurants nearby. Many excellent golf courses within 20 minutes.

The villa is set in the fantastic mountainous countryside of Southern Andalucia with easy access from Malaga airport on good roads; the journey from the airport takes about 40 minutes. It is about ten minutes from both Coin and Alhaurin el Grande, two typically Spanish towns with plenty of shops and restaurants. The fast road to Marbella with its charming old town centre and great beaches is a few minutes from the villa. Mijas, a very pretty and interesting white village, is a 15 minute drive away with superb views along the way. Fuengirola is also an easy journey. Further afield there is Ronda, Antequera, Granada, Seville and Gibraltar. Any number of places along the coast road are accessible, including two large shopping malls.

Notes: The living area is very comfortably furnished with two large sofas, two armchairs an open fireplace, and air-conditioning. It has two sets of patio doors leading out on to a shady terrace framed with brilliant bougainvilleas. There is a large table with seating for 8 on the terrace - ideal for eating al fresco. The pool is just beyond the terrace and is set in a lovely Mediterranean garden. The garden completely surrounds the villa, giving an air of seclusion and privacy. It includes a nice sized lawned area for ball games. The garden and pool have lighting for night time. One double ensuite bedroom is on the ground floor, making it suitable for people who have difficulty with stairs. There is a separate W.C. off the front entrance hall. The kitchen is modern and well equipped, making eating in a pleasure. There is air-conditioning to the ground floor living area, and large ceiling fans in the bedrooms.

Golf:

The property is ideally situated for golfers. The local courses have some of the most stunning views in Andalucia. The nearest is Alhaurin, about 5 minutes away. Designed by Seve Ballasteros, it is a slightly quirky, but very entertaining course, suitable for most golfers. La Cala and Santana are about 20 minutes away. La Cala has three courses with another one in construction. Santana is a beautiful new course, set amongst olive and avocado trees and is easily walkable. Lauro Golf is also about 20 minutes away, less well known, but again, a very good course with superb mountain views.

As well as these one has easy access to virtually all of the courses on the Costa del Sol; Mijas Golf with its two courses, is within half an hour, and once you reach the main coastal road (twenty minutes) the golfing world is your oyster! Most of the courses have good restaurants serving very cold beer and reasonably priced food, just what you need after a round on the sometimes hilly courses.

Beautiful Villa in beuatiful location.

We spent a week last August in this gorgeous vills.It is beautifully maintained and the garden a haven ,with orange ,avocado trees. and beautiful plants and flowers.The soft grass was a big bonus!The pool is immaculate and the children spent many happy hours in the pool and garden.It is fully equipped and there is plenty of space inside and out.The villa is perfectly situated for exploring the coast and inland beauty spots.We particularly enjoyed the lakes near Ardales ...stunning .I cannot recommend this villa highly enough .We cannot wait to return next August!

Superb spacious villa in sunny Spain

We are a young(ish!) professional couple and went to this villa for a week to relax in October and were really impressed - spotlessly clean, spacious and with a delighful outside terrace and attractive private garden with private pool. The overall quality of the villa and its facilities was better than any we have previously stayed in. There were several nice touches like plenty of useful information about restaurants, supermarkets etc which made the trip that much easier and more relaxing, We would certainly recommend and intend to go again oursleves next year.

Beautiful Villa

We really enjoyed our holiday at Las Adelphas in September this year.The villa was just perfect and It was so nice to walk in and find it was equipped with absolutely everything we needed. It was just like home from home and we were even able to watch the Scottish news on TV. We only used the downstairs accommodation as this was ample for the two of us but we really enjoyed the space and of course the lovely garden and pool. The property is in a very quiet peaceful (but not isolated) area and is close enough to local towns for shopping and eating out. It is also a good base for travelling around the area, we visited Marbella, Nerja and Ronda as well as smaller places closer to hand. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this lovely villa and I hope we will visit again sometime.

A superb place to stay in the sun of Spain

We have just returned from a week at Las Adelfas and had a fabulous time. The villa was light, spacious and well equipped for all our needs. It was far away enough to be quiet but still close enough for everything to be easily accessible.
We have two small children under the age of three and the villa was extremely child friendly and the pool provided many hours of entertainment for us all.
The owners are vey polite and quick to respond to any questions or queries you may have and their contact in Spain was on hand to assist throughout our stay.
We would thoroughly recommend this villa to anyone and if we do return to Spain we will definitely look into renting this villa again.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Girls Getaway, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway
