A traditional style three-bedroom villa (plus separate twin bedded ensuite annex) peacefully located amid an avocado grove, 5min to Coin and 25mins from Marbella, Puerto Banus and the sea.The villa is in excellent order throughout.The main house has 1 double bedroom leading out to large sun terrace/balcony and 2 twin bedrooms. There is a bathroom with shower and WC upstairs and a separate shower and WC downstairs.The annex bedroom has a large ensuite shower room. The kitchen is fully fitted with hob, oven and microwave.The spacious sitting room is comfortably furnished with TV, DVD.Broadband internet available. Coin is an attractive, unspoilt Andalusian 'white' town about 25 minutes drive inland from the coast. It has all amenities including a good variety of shops, bars, restaurants etc., and a large hypermarket. The villa enjoys a semi rural location peacefully located on a hillside about 5 minutes by car, out of town. Finca Tropical is 25 minutes drive from Puerto Banus, Marbella and the sea. There is a small local shop for every day essentials about 15 minutes stroll from the Villa. Clay pigeon shooting, horse riding/trekking, rifle shooting, quad bikes, go-karting, cycling, wolf park, fishing, beautiful walks and nearby lakes, tennis/country club are all activities to be found within easy reach of the villa. Finca Tropical is located in a peaceful, semi-rural position well away from the hustle and bustle of the town. Wonderfully safe for children.

Additional information about rental rates

  • Prices are based on up to 6 people sharing the main house and include air con and internet access. There is an additional weekly charge for use of the twin bedded annex bedroom of £110 per week. The annex is only available for use when there are more than 6 guests in the party or if specifically requested.. Please note that on changeover days the house will be available from 4pm onwards. Guests are requested to vacate the house by 10 am on the day of departure to facilitate cleaning etc.
    Pool heating is optional and is available at an additional £55 per week.
    Booking Terms: 20% deposit on booking. Balance due 8 weeks before departure together with £50 per week security deposit which will be returned within one month of your return from holiday.
  • High chairs, cots, stair gate available at £10 per week per item. Maid service is available at an additional cost - please contact us for details. An additional Z bed can also be provided if necessary for a smal charge.
    Bed linen and towels provided but please bring your own beach towels.
  • If you are a large group of more than 8 people wishing to holiday together please see details of our neighbouring guest villa, Villa Maria (Ref: 7539), which can sleep up to four and also has its own private pool. Renting both properties for such groups is an ideal solution for a large family or group of friends. Both properties are private from each other with their own separate entrances and ample parking.

Skiing in the Sierra Nevada: Finca Tropical is located within reach of the Sierra Nevada. Within 2 to 3 hours drive you could be skiing down the slopes of the highest mountains in Spain. A fascinating break from the drudgery of the pool or golf course! Highly recommended.

Golf: The nearest golf courses are Alhaurin Golf and Lauro Golf, both within 15 mins drive. There are literally dozens of other golf courses within 30 mins to one hour's drive, to suit all standards.

Other Activities: A concrete area by the villa is ideal for rollerblading, remote control cars, ball games, etc

A good holiday get-away

We stayed here for Xmas - to 'get away from it all'. It did the trick perfectly. What was good?
The location, the furniture and fittings, the garden, the table tennis table (and I'm sure the pool is super in better weather - we hit a coldish spell for Andalusia), the local 'carers' and the personal contact to the owner. Convenient distance from Malaga Airport, good for other sightseeing, too. W-Lan and British TV!
I'm sure it is completely different in the summer, but Andalusia at Xmas is lovely with all the citrus fruits on the trees, and Coin was a riot at New Year's Eve!
Less good - the electricity and water supplies. The beds.
But all in all, we were very happy with our choice of Finca - despite slightly below-average weather. Many thanks to the owners! All information provided is accurate and correct.

Excellent!

Our stay was great. The spot is lovely (views!) and the location perfect; you can reach everything easily by car. Very good possibilities for hikes in the mountains. The house is very nice, for good and bad weather. The heated pool is great! One little downside is that the fourth bedroom can only reached from outside the house. For some things in the house (e.g. electricity, pool heating) we needed some help, which was provided immediately; The service was perfect. This gave a very good feeling.
So, excellent holiday, very recommendable!
