A charming 2 bedroomed villa, inland from the Costa del Sol. Villa Maria, set on a peaceful hillside amid an avocado grove, situated 5 mins from Coin and 25 min from Marbella, Puerto Banus and the sea. The villa is in excellent order throughout with full air con/heating. Accommodation comprises one twin bedroom and one double bedroom. Shower room and WC. The kitchen is fully fitted with hob, oven and microwave. The sitting room is comfortably furnished and has a log fire. TV, DVD player. Dining area. The beautiful 8x5m private swimming pool has an outdoor shower and there is a lovely raised shady eating area. The pool terrace is gated off for child safety. Coin is an attractive, unspoilt town, about 25 minutes drive from the coast. Coin has a good range of amenities including shops, restaurants etc., and a large supermarket. Villa Maria enjoys a semi-rural location peacefully located on a hillside about 5 minutes by car from Coin. The views across the valley are wonderful. Puerto Banus, Marbella and the beaches are jus 25 minutes drive away. The villa is about 5 mins by car from the town. There is a small local shop about 15 minutes stroll from the villa which stocks day to day essentials. If you are looking for a peaceful break away from the crowds with lovely scenery but within easy reach of the town and beaches this is an ideal location. A wealth of activities are available in the surrounding area and there's a superb choice of golf courses to suit every standard.

Additional information about rental rates

  • Please note that the house is available from 4pm onwards on the day of arrival and guests are requested to vacate the house by 10am on the day of departure to facilitate cleaning. Rental rates based on up to 4 people sharing. Booking terms: 20% at time of booking, balance due 8 weeks prior to departure plus £75 per week refundable security deposit. A mid stay change of bed linen and towels is included in the price for guests staying for 2 weeks. Aircon and internet access also included.
  • High chair, cot, stairgate available at an additional cost of £12 per item per week. Maid service can be arranged at an additional cost. Contact owners for details. Bed linen and towels provided but please bring your own beach towels.
  • If you are a large family or group of friends Villa Maria has a sister villa close by with 4 bedrooms (including the separate annex) sleeping a total of 8 people - Finca Tropical - see it on this site - property no.7398 - a beautiful, private villa with lovely gardens, private pool and the same magnificent views. This is an ideal solution for larger groups who wish to holiday together but retain some independence. Both properties have a private pool, separate entrances with ample parking and a high degree of privacy.

Villa Maria lies within reach of the Sierra Nevada mountain range. Within 2/3 hours drive you could be hurtling down the slopes of the highest mountains in Spain. A fascinating break from the drudgery of the pool or golf course! Highly recommended.

Golf:

The nearest golf course is Alhaurin el Grande and Lauro golf both within 15 mins drive. There are dozens of other golf courses within 30 mins to 1 hour's drive to suit all standards. Clay pigeon shooting, quad biking, tennis, cycling, horse riding/trekking, rifle shooting, Go-karting, wolf park, beautiful walks, lakes, fishing, country club all available within easy reach of the villa.

Peace perfect Peace..

Villa Maria is a wonderful place to getaway and relax surrounded by avocado, figs, oranges and lemon trees.
The property itself was very clean and contained everything you could ever need. It was like a home from home and we all felt very comfortable there.
The outside area is excellent, with good size pool, loungers and eating area with tables and chairs which is in a shaded postition. The views are spectacular and the sky at night breathtaking.
I wouldnt recommend the property to elderly people or young party people as you have to drive up the windy hill to reach "civilisation".
Villa Maria is the perfect place to get away from it all, a place to stop and relax and this was exactly what it gave us.
Recommended for:  Girls Getaway, Sightseeing, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway
