Our villa is perfect for relaxation and to use as a base for exploring Andalucia & the Costa Del Sol. With a private pool (10m x 5m), it is set in a stunning position, enjoying the breathtaking mountain views of La Maroma & Alcaucin village. Close to Lake Vinuela, this villa is set on its own plot of land with traditional olive trees. Sleeping up to 6 & with air-conditioning throughout, this tastefully decorated house has 3 bedrooms (1 double with ensuite WC/ shower room and balcony, 1 twin room and 1 room with bunk beds) and a family bathroom. Downstairs is the lounge/ dining area with satellite TV, DVD player and CD/ hi-fi & a well equipped kitchen with oven/ hob, microwave, washing machine, plus all the crockery & utensils you could possibly need ! The outside patio area is furnished with a dining table and chairs, parasol, sunloungers and BBQ, and overlooks the beautiful views & private pool. The Costa Del Sol beaches, Malaga, Nerja and Torre Del Mar are only a short drive away.

For the outdoor enthusiasts, the Parque Nacionales is 10km away and Lake Vinuela is only 10 minutes drive. The nearest beach is 25 mins by car at Torre Del Mar & slightly further along the coast is Nerja with several lovely beaches to enjoy. There are 2 golf courses within a 30-40 minute drive away. Malaga is a 1 hour drive away & beyond there are the Costa Del Sol resorts of Marbella & onwards to Gibraltar. Change-over day is flexible to suit your requirements and to allow you to take advantage of cheap mid-week flights from companies such as Easyjet, Bmibaby, Jet2.com and Monarch. There are also many charter flights to Malaga with companies such as Thomson, First Choice, Airtours, Thomas Cook etc. Plus the villa is just over 1 hour from Granada which benefits from low cost flights from Ryanair. The check-in time is after 4pm on day of arrival and check-out is 10am on day of departure. We ask that you advise us of your flight arrival and departure times at the time of booking.

Notes to the rental rates

  • Special 2 week offer: £50 reduction off all 2 week holidays!! For 2010 prices or long term rental prices (over 4 weeks), please request via email.
    Deposit: 25% of total rental price to be paid within 7 days of booking being confirmed. Balance: Payable 10 weeks before departure together with a security deposit of £150. The security deposit will be banked and fully refunded within 28 days of return provided that there are no damage/ breakages/ excessive use of electricity (or any other breach of holiday agreement). If you fail to pay the balance when due, your booking may be cancelled Cancellations:More than 10 weeks prior to arrival: loss of deposit.10-8 weeks prior: 50% of total rental rate will be refunded.7-5 weeks prior: 25% of total rental rate will be refunded.4-0 weeks prior: 0% refund.
  • Please note, if you are booking within 10 weeks of your departure date, this is classed as a late booking and the total rental amount is due within 7 days of the booking being confirmed.
    Payment is normally only accepted in the quoted currency and is to be paid by internet bank transfer or cheque in £sterling. The approximate equivalent amounts are to be used as a guide only as all actual payments amounts and method of payment in alternative currencies are to be agreed in advance between the advertiser/ owner and the guest. Payments may be acceptable from non-sterling bank accounts or through Paypal with prior agreement with advertiser and will incur an extra 5% charge.
  • Once your booking is confirmed, the price is fixed and will not change. However, we reserve the right to change the published prices for new bookers during the holiday season depending on availability.

The 3rd bedroom with bunk beds is only suitable for children aged 14 yrs old or under. The villa is baby friendly as there is a travel cot & baby listener available which could be placed in any of the bedrooms, plus a microwave steam sterilizer. BBC Freeview satellite TV, DVD player, CD/ hi-fi player, board games and a deck of cards are available. An iron, ironing board, clothes airier and hairdryer are also provided. The double bedroom has an ensuite WC, shower and basin. The family bathroom features WC, bidet, shower over bath and basin. Bathroom & kitchen tea towels are supplied for use inside however we ask you to bring your own towels for use by the pool & on the beach. All reasonable heating, water & pool upkeep charges are included in the rental rates. This is a non-smoking property however you can smoke outside and there is an ashtray for this purpose only. The pool is not heated so is only available for use between 1st April - 31st October.

Baviera Golf Course

Opened in 2002, the Baviera Golf Course is located 25 mins drive from the villa at La Caleta de Velez and is open all year. This 18 hole, par 71, 5066 metres course was designed by the European tour professional José Maria Cañizares and has wide fairways and large, fast greens plus there are some cleverly placed water hazards which put this course in the moderately difficult bracket. Facilities include golf buggies, practice balls, pitch and putt, driving range, covered driving range, golf school, caddies, club rental, trolleys, lockers, dressing rooms, showers, club house, restaurants and a pro shop. The course enjoys magnificent views of both the sea and the mountains and is only 200 metres from the La Caleta yachting club. For further information call Baviera Golf on: 0034 952 555 015.

Añoreta Golf Course

The Añoreta Golf Course is located 40 minutes from the villa, close to Rincón de la Victoria. This 18 hole, par 72, 5673 metre course was opened in 1990 and was also designed by José Mariá Cañizares. Situated between the mountains and the sea, this ‘Parkland styled’ course provides some spectacular scenery. The fairways are wide and the greens are good, plus there are some difficult holes making this a very challenging golf course for all level of golfers. In fact, there are eleven holes with water - including the long 528 metres third hole. Facilities include pro shop, restaurant, clubhouse, showers, changing rooms, rental clubs, trolleys, buggies, driving range, putting and chipping greens and lessons.
