This beautifully furnished townhouse is in an excellent position within walking distance to shops, bars, & restaurants. There is a local beach in Calahonda which has beach side bars. The house itself is just 4 years old and has every facility that you would expect from a property on this superior development. Set in lovely gardens with a fantastic pool the house has a security entry system to give total privacy. There is also a parking space at the front of the house. At the rear of the house is a beautiful patio area with dual pagodas for sun protection. A superb dining table and barbecue affords al fresco dining on those never ending warm balmy nights. The house has air-conditioning, satellite TV (British channels) an excellent sound system & a PS2. In the large kitchen there is a washing machine, dishwasher, ceramic hob, oven & microwave, plus a fridge freezer. There is an en-suite to the master bedroom , a family bathroom & a guest wc. On the lower ground is a pool table(freeplay)

The development of Los Jarales is in central Calahonda, very close to all facilities. There is a taxi rank and bus stop within 200 metres of the house, making access to Marbella, Puerto Banus, Fuengirola and Benalmadena easy. A car is not essential. For the children there are two great water parks plus Tivoli World funfair. One water park is in Fuengirola & the other is in Torremolinos. Tivoli world is in Benalmadena. An internet cafe is also very close by within walking distance.

Our holiday stay at Los Jarales

We have been coming to Los Jarales in Calahonda for the last 3 years and we love every minute of it. It is a gated complex of approx 25 townhouses, mainly owned by English people. The gardens are very well maintained and the shared pool is great for children. The house and complex are ideal for families. The complex is very well positioned for shops, restaurants and beaches. Malaga airport is only half an hour's drive away and you do not need a car to stay in Calahonda, however we always hire one so that we can visit places such as Marbella, Puerto Banus, Fuengirola, Girbraltar and even to Coin and Ronda in the mountains. The house is extremely comfortable and well equipped. I have 3 young children under 11 and they enjoy playing the Playstation and a game of pool. The house also has a basic SKY TV package so the kids can watch their favourite cbbc/cbeebies programmes and we can catch up with our soaps! We've just had a great week there and we have booked for next year as well. Would highly recommend to all.

Spring Bank break

We wanted a quiet, relaxing break i.e. nothing energetic. The house is lovely and having three bedrooms was great for us as we have a teenage boy and a teenage girl, so they got a separate bedroom. We didn't want to hire a car but we organised a transfer to and from the airport via the owner and this all went very well. The location of this house is fantastic for getting around as it is very close to the Malaga-Marbella road and we used the local bus to go in both directions. There is a row of shops/bars very close to the house and a further 7 mins walk takes you to the main strip of restaurants & bars of Calahonda. There is an excellent supermarket (Mercadona) very near selling everything you could want.
Throughout our stay there was only 2 other parties using the pool area. It was very clean (and cold according to my daughter) and quiet.
All in all I would recommend this property if you like a bit of space and a relaxing time. if its wild nights your after I don't think Calahonda is for you.
