This property was carefully designed to ensure that you can enjoy the marvellous views that are part of the attraction of this lovely mountain village. Whether you are captivated by the myriad of clay-tiled roofs, or love gazing up at El Hecha, the mountain that overlooks the village, or looking down the Genal valley towards the Mediterranean coast and beyond to Africa you are sure to have one favourite view that will remain with you. The property has been thoughtfully furnished to a high standard with careful attention to detail. French doors open on to the terraces to provide light and airy interior, the excellent views and ease of access. Central heating allows the property to be comfortably enjoyed all year round. Casa La Roca has a swimming pool.

Casa La Roca was built in 2005 and takes full advantage of the amazing southerly views to the Mediterranean and beyond. The bright and roomy house, which is traditionally finished with terracotta tiled floors, has terraces off of all rooms. The accommodation is arranged over two floors. On the ground floor there is a large sitting/dining room with wood burning stove and adjacent well appointed kitchen. Upstairs there are two bedrooms and a bathroom. The main terrace incorporates a generous plunge pool approx. 5.5m x 3.5m and outdoor shower. There is a small shady rear courtyard. A barbecue, table and chairs are provided for dining outside. Central heating keeps the property comfortable year-round.

Situated in Gaucin, one of the famous “pueblo blancos” with narrow winding streets of tightly packed traditional Spanish houses, this village offers variety for all. The facilities include; restaurants and tapas bars, two supermarkets, indoor food market, chemist, doctors’ surgery, post office, banks with ATM, police station and Internet café. For the active there is a tennis court, swimming pool and horse riding locally. There are golf courses and beaches within 25 kilometres. The area is also popular for walking and organized outings are available from the village. A car is recommended with Malaga airport 1hr 20min and Gilbraltar 1 hr drive away. Gaucin is also within easy driving distance of Ronda, Granada, Cordoba, Seville and Marbella.
