Area: Gaucín is a beautiful, white-washed mountain village, part of the Serranía de Ronda. It is spectacularly situated on a ridge, 629 meters above sea level and has breath- taking views over the Genal valley to Gibraltar, the Mediterranean and Morocco. Gaucín is not only beautiful, but also very centrally situated. Nature lovers will find themselves surrounded by nature reserves like the Sierra de Grazalema, Los Alconorcales and the Sierra de las Nieves, wonderful walking area with a lot of wildlife. Are you interested in history and culture? The ancient monuments of Granada, Sevilla, Córdoba, Cádiz and Ronda can be visited in a day trip. And last but not least the Mediterranean, with its lively yachting marinas and its golfcourses. Or the beautiful, unspoilt beaches of the Atlantic Costa de la Luz. You will find airports in Gibraltar (1 hour), Málaga (1,5), Jerez de la Frontera (2) and Sevilla (2,5).
