This tradition Spanish style house, with private swimming pool has been built with the emphasis on quality. The decor and surroundings have being designed to insure your stay in the 'real' Spain be pleasurable and relaxing. The fully equipped & fitted kitchen will provide you with all your needs for those romantic evenings. The lounge area with real fire place, leads on to the patio which is enclosed with wrought iron gates. These gates add to the security aspect, but the main aim is to provide safety & 'piece of mind' for the 'grown ups' with respect to the 'wandering' children. This invites you to the decked pool area, then ventures to the pool house patio and BBQ. This in turn opens the roof terrace to sample the breath taking views of the surrounding valley and lake.

Local Amenities: If you want loud music and all night parting then please, this is not for you. This beautiful Spanish home is situated in the mountain/nation park area of Andalusia. The views are breath taking and are complemented by the surrounding 5000m2 private grounds. The garden area has planters, palms with olive, almond & orange trees. The lower part of the grounds has stables, which can be viewed, from the roof or pool terrace. Along with the picturesque views of lake Vinuela, the mountains provide a beautiful backdrop to this home. The area is in the 'real' Spain, however there are local bars and restaurants, in the neighbouring area of Puente Don Manuel & Los Ramona's, which are minutes away. The local village of Alcaucin provides all your needs for your daily supplies such as fresh fish, meat and bread that are readily available. In addition, there is a bank with cash point facilities, pharmacia & post office

Surrounding Areas: The nearest beach is 20 minutes drive which will also give you access to two golf courses BAVIERA GOLF at Torre del Mar (Tel: + 34 952 555 015) CLUB ANORETA at Rincon de la Victoria (Tel: + 34 952 404 000). The hospital is also situated in Torre Del Mar, along with the Eroski supper store, (if you need to complete a 'big shopping list). The Sierra Nevada skiing mountain region is 80 minutes drive, which you can drop in along the way to the villages/towns for tapas with the locals. This can only be described as paradise.

2nd Year we've been to the Villa and this year was even better than the last. I defy anyone not to totally relax in this perfect setting (the views from morning to night are just spectacular).Kids happy to spend the day in and around the pool and home from home facilities to fall back on when the heat gets too much. Village a short bumpy walk away but worth it for the mountain water springs in the centre(take plenty bottles). You will need a car if you want to travel around but this is a place where the family will be more than happy to just chill. Talking of cars, be wary of when you book because the prices have rocketed. Can't wait to return one day

This is the 3rd year that we have holiday'd at Casa Rose. The villa is ideal for families, great pool, great location for exploring the Andalucian countryside.

The local village is perfect for dining out.

For those that enjoy larger resorts, Malaga, Marbella and the gorgeous Nerja are all within easy driving distance.

To surmise, an excellent villa to relax and wash the cobwebs away.
