This very beautiful villa, on completely enclosed private grounds and with it's 2 enigmatic entrance gates, is a 45 minutes drive from Malaga airport. 20 minutes drive to Torre del Mar with it's beautiful beach, marina, many restaurants and cosmopolitan atmosphere. 2 minutes walk to traditional local pub/restaurant. 10 walk to the centre of our little white village of Alcaucín... shops, pubs, restaurants, banks and post office. A variety of good restaurants and tapa bars within 5/10 minutes drive. Organised watersport and activity agency closeby. Dinghy sailing permitted on local lake, also 5 minutes drive. Snow skiing 2 hours drive, approx. to Sierra Nevada. Granada's famous Alhambra Palace is less than 2 hours drive. Lots of golfing opportunities 1/2 to 1 hour's drive. Horse riding locally, within 5 minutes walk.
Alcaucín village and National Park area:
Alcaucín is a typical white village in the heart of the Axarquía region and famous for it's fountain with 5 spouts, located in the centre of the village. It is situated at the foothills of Sierra Tejeda, today a national park. The Park amenities and wildlife are an important local feature - the locality is a haven for bird watching, painting, photography or writing and a treasure for hill walking - possible from the villa door. The herd of sheep and goats with their bells ringing out their presence and under the watchful eye of their master, makes it's way, most days, past the villa bounderies. Breathtaking scenery.
Villa Tejeda itself:
'Villa Tejeda', pronounced 'Beelya Tekheda' takes its name from the 6,000 foot mountain range near where it is situated. It is a new villa and truly magnificent. It has many special features and extras that will make your stay relaxed and easy. The views, the dawns and the sunsets are spectacular. The villa is situated in extensive natural gardens, pathways amongst flowers and shrubs, olive trees, fruits, herbs and nuts and is completely enclosed. The garden leads on to a 14 hundred square metre enclosed olive and almond grove, also for the EXCLUSIVE use of our guests. The olive grove has a private and really cute children's play area, with swings, sand pit, etc. for our young (and not so young) guests. The swimming pool is private and fully maintained and there is an abundance of garden furniture and beach towels for use at the villa. Spacious lounge leads to veranda with barbecue and outside sheltered seating. Sun room/balcony off dining room. Cleaning service by arrangement.

Golfing on many courses within 1 hour's drive, the nesrest 20 minutes drive. We will be very happy to furnish all details.
