A 10 minute drive to large modern town alharin el grande with fantastic restaurants also to a large shopping area la tronche with many nice shops and a macdonalds, also a cinema with some modern films in english.It also can be very romantic if some of the group wish to go for lovely walks or into the younger peoples bars that are available in the village.

Villa Cristabal, is on the edge of a small unspoilt village with a lovely relaxed atmosphere ideal for a quiet relaxing break, it has bars, a restaurant, pizzeria, bakery with fresh bread baked daily, supermarket and is situated near 3 large rural towns all within 5 min drive with restaurants boasting the finest food in the region they have many bars, shops, discos and internet café, The towns are Coin,Alhaurin Grande and Cartama. The nearest beach area is Torremolinos and then onto Benalmadena with many water sports and a sea life also a spectacular marina. Torremolinos has an aqua park and for winter visitors an Olympic size heated swimming pool, a great 10 pin bowling and sports complex is beside the swimming pool. Benalmadena has a great cable car ride and a Tivoli World fun park.

Within an hour you can be in the centre of spectacular lake areas where you can take walks around the lake or for the more adventurous have a canoe ride. There are very nice restaurants dotted along the main route. Alternatively you can visit Marbella and Puerto Banus or amble through the streets of Gibralter enjoying tax free shopping. Tennis courts in nearby town.
