The property sleeps up to 8 people and has under floor heating throughout. The villa has its own swimming pool (8m x 6m) plus covered shower with seat, shaded porch areas, a barbeque and outdoor table tennis table. It is also fully equipped with washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, satellite television and all mod cons. The villa is an hour's drive from Malaga Airport and is situated on a mountain that is approximately 10 minutes up a track from the villages of Canillas de Aceituno and Alcaucin.

Situation and distances

60 minutes drive from Malaga airport. 20 minutes drive to Torre del Mar with its beautiful beach, marina, many restaurants and cosmopolitan atmosphere. 10 minutes drive to traditional local pub/restaurant. 10 minutes drive to Alcaucin and Canillas which have shops, restaurants, banks and post. Snow skiing 2 hours drive approx. to Sierra Nevada. Granada's famous Alhambra Palace is less than 2 hour's drive. Golfing opportunities 1 hour's drive.

Alcaucin and Canillas de Aceituno

These villages are in typical Spanish style in the heart of the Axarquia region. They are situated at the foothills of Sierra Tejeda, today a national park. The park amenities and wildlife are an important local feature - the locality is a haven for bird watching, painting, photography or writing and perfect for hill walking - possible from the villa door. The herd of sheep and goats with their bells ringing out their presence and under the watchful eye of the shepherd, makes its way, most days past the villa boundaries.

Villa Bedroche

The villa was built in 2003 and is situated in a 6,000 foot mountain range. The views, the dawns and the sunsets are spectacular. The swimming pool is private and fully maintained with its own outdoor shower. There is a concrete table-tennis table outside and a rock-bar area for eating and drinking.
