There are some great golf courses within a half hour to an hours drive from the Villa. There are coastal courses designed by such luminaries as Sevvy and Nick Faldo aswell as inland courses by Robert Trent Jones. Prices vary according to season and venue but expect to pay no less than 35 euros per person for 18 holes without buggy.

The hill-top town of Comares with its bars and restaurants banks and shops is less than 4 kilometres drive. Sit in the square and admire the spectacular views to the sea over the rugged terrain of the Campo.Meals here are cheap and well cooked. With a bottle of wine and starters and main courses expect to pay as little as 35 euros for 2 people some 30% cheaoer than on the coast. There are some recently established restaurants in the town well worth a visit and with international cuisine.there really is no need to go further for a great night out.
The bird life in the valley in which the villa nestles is full of variety and song as this area is on the migration path between N Africa and Northern Europe. Most nights you will be regaled with song from at least one nightingale and often you will hear an Eagle Owl calling.
From the Villa the 3 regional treats of Granada ,Cordoba and Seville are easily drivable in a day as the motorway links are literally 20 minutes drive away.
