Large country villa, close to the village of Competa. The Villa has a ground floor with 4 bedrooms, 1 double with en suite bathroom. 3 Twin rooms and 1 room containing 2 sets of bunkbeds suitable for children (this could also be converted to a twin room if required). There are 2 further family bathrooms with showers. There is a spacious lounge/diner. There is a main kitchen, and a further dining area and kitchenette. There is a separate apartment which is accessed at the rear of the villa, which has 2 twin rooms, shower room, open plan kitchen and lounge. The lounge contains a sofa bed that sleeps 2. The villa is perfect for family holidays giving the best of both worlds. The tranquility of the mountain setting, but with all amenities close by. The apartment is available only for larger parties and can not be rented separately.

The Villa is situated close to the beautiful white village of Competa, which is famous for its locally produced wine and olives. It has a range of tapas bars and excellent restaurants. The villa has outstanding mountain and sea views. The stunning mountain range of Sierra Almijarrra is near by which is a walkers paradise. A 20 minute drive takes you to the coastal town of Torrox which boasts the best climate in Europe. A further 5 minutes takes you to the busy town of Nerja which has beautiful beaches, many bars and excellent restaurants, quirky shops and for the young at heart, exciting night life. Also within 30 minutes there is a large shopping centre and a water park. Many activities are available in the area eg. a golf course, horse riding, quad biking, scuba diving, bowling alley, cinema and beach activities.We can now organise Guided Activity Days, Walking,Mountain Biking and Road cycling, bikes can be hired

Notes: The villa consists of the main house which has 2 kitchens, 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, lounge and 2 dining areas. There are 3 doors leading to the patio, barbeque area and large pool. There is an apartment accessed at the rear of the villa which consists of 2 twin bedrooms, 1 shower room, and an open plan kitchen and lounge with a small dining table. A door leads on to a large sun terrace, which has stunning views. The villa has an airy feel to it and has traditional Andalusian features and decor. There is a concrete road to the villa and there is ample parking space for 3 cars. There is a selection of board games available for your use.

what can anyone say about this villa. well I read the other review, and was thinking wow ! ! what a place, sounds like heavan? well the other review, was so far from the truth, this place was remarkable, oustanding, beautiful, to die for, You take your pick. Me,, it was all of the above and more.
The best time to arrive at this villa is late at night, when its dark, yes when its dark, the place is wonderfull, the views are to die for, and thats why i say to turn up late at night, so you miss the views, Then settle in for the night, and get some sleep, close all the shutters so that its completley dark. Then lie back go to sleep and wait till morning, then get up go to the lounge, open the doors and have your breath taken away. to see this view for the first time, is like looking through the gates of heavan. It is to die for !!!!!! . As thats the only other way to find sch a delightfull view.
The villa itself was lovely, well presented and very well equiped. With sky TV ( british sky tv ) which is a first for me, as every where else i have ever been has always had GERMAN TV, with the only english channels being sky news or eurosport.
A welcome pack awaits you when you get there, with the basic bits you need, tea milk bread, and ham etc etc.
The pool is nearly twice the size of other villas ive stayed in, i would say approx 45ft in lengh.
What else is there to say, the sorrounding towns are wonderfull competa with all its charm, and nerja with all its shops and great nightlife.
This is a wondefull part of spain, and cant wait to return to this very same villa.
I hope this review helps other decide to come here, I promise you wont be dissappointed.

peacefully, tranquel, clean and tidy

this villa was perfect for what we wanted, the owners were great aswell, really made us feel at home, and helped to look after us. the villa it self was equiped with every thing a holiday maker would want, BRITISH sky? dishwasher, micro, etc etc etc dvd player. a beautiful pool, and views to die for.. you do need to like driving, as its approx 8miles of winding country roads up the mountain. with wonderfull views for the passengers at every turning, takes approx 30mins. competa village is approx 2-3 min drive further on, and is a wonderfull little village. dont really now what else to say? EXCEPT THIS......
we thought about about booking this villa for two holidays? but was unsure that we would like it? one day after being there we rung the owners and booked it again for september, didnt need long to decide this was perfect for US. sleeps 16 and it was just me and the wife? we rattled around the place, daughter and husband came out at the end of the holiday, and joined us for a long weekend. this would be perfect for 2-3 familys, as there are lockable doors between the parts of the villa so if you wanted to split the villa 3 ways ?then yep, privacy..... the one suggestion i would make to the owners is to get two more double beds and swop with some of the singles.
