Villa Fuerteventura is located within the Sierra de les Nieves National Park and offers total peace and tranquillity with outstanding views of the Sierra de les Nieves (Snow Mountains).The area is host to a wide range of natural wildlife including eagles,kestrels,songbirds and foxes. In days gone by the 'treasure' of ice and snow was taken and kept in wells for the summer to serve the surrounding villages.
The local villages of Jorox,Tolox, Alozaina and Junquera are situated in one of the most unspoilt and beautiful corners of Andalucia.
Though located in unspoilt Spanish countryside the villa is only 40 minutes from the coast and Marbella with all its attractions.
The local villages have small supermarkets and banks. Coin which is 25 minutes drive has extensive shopping facilities allowing you to stock the freezers in the villa nd just sit back and relax.
The local villages also have a good selection of rural restaurants offering local cuisine at very competitive prices.
Local Activities/Places of Interest:
The local area abounds with numerous activities including walking/ bird watching/mountain biking/horse riding/pot holing/fishing/canoeing/climbing etc. If you are interested in any of these activities and book a holiday at the villa please inform us of your interests in advance so details can be obtained.
The villa is easily accessible for day trips to a number of famous places including, Granada, Seville,, Ronda, Nerja and Cordoba.The Costa del Sol is only 40 minutes drive offering a wealth of good beaches and golf courses.
Other Useful Information:
The villa is looked after by a local property management company which is run by an English husband and wife team. They greet guests and organise all cleaning and swimming pool maintenance. They also operate a airport collection and delivery service.
The villa has ample car parking space in its own private drive. In addition to its own gardens and pool it also has 7000 sq metres of surrounding land containing avocado/lemon and almond trees.
The villa is accessed from the main Alozaina/Ronda road by an excellent tarmacadamed road- unlike many other country properties!
