Villa El Albergue is full of character and sits in approximately half an acre of well tended gardens. There is a superb floodlit pool measuring approx 8m x 4m which is surrounded by terraces with 6 very comfortable sunloungers, an outside undercover dining area, bar and built in BBQ. It has a fully fitted kitchen with all Miele appliances - 5 ring ceramic gas hob, oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, also extensive utensils and a separate utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer. The lounge has full sky satellite, CD player, air-conditioning, heating and wood burning stove. The bedrooms comprise, one double with super king sized bed and en-suite bathroom and a further two twins. All are air-conditioned and heated. There is a further bathroom next to the two twins. The charming village of Mijas and the beaches of Los Boliches/Fuengirola are 5 minutes away. Malaga International airport and Marbella/Puerto Banus are 20-25 minutes drive respectively.

Additional information about rental rates

  • From 1st October 2009 to 1st April 2010 the villa is available for any amount of days up to 5 month rental. Rates are negotiable depending on length of stay.
    A deposit of £200 is required to secure the booking. The full amount is payable 8 weeks before the holiday. The deposit will be refunded on your return once an inventory for loses or damage has been completed. Your deposit will not be refunded if you cancel before the holiday is paid in full.
    If cancellation is necessary after your holiday has been paid in full your deposit will be refunded but any further refunds of amount paid will be at the owners discretion.

Notes: Satellite TV has the full Sky package including BBC1/2, ITV and Channel 4. The pool is cleaned every Friday morning. On Saturdays all linen & towels are changed, the gardens attended to and the house cleaned. Beach towels are not provided. A welcome pack of beer, wine, bread, eggs, butter, tea, coffee etc. is provided on your arrival.

Entertainment.: There are numerous restaurants within a short distance. A fairly comprehensive list can be obtained on request. For those 'Night-birds' there are many discos and places of entertainment. There are at least 30 golf courses within half an hours drive. Go-karting, Fuengirola aquapark and horse riding are all close by. The recently refurbished Lew Hoad's tennis club is 5 minutes walk away. For those staying during the winter, skiing in the Sierra Nevada is 2 hours drive. Clay pigeon shooting is available in Monda (30 minutes).

Other Activities: Horse racing, aquapark, go karting.

I stayed at this villa for my 40th birthday with five other ladies and we had a fantastic relaxing holiday. The villa is very well equipped with everything you could ask for, its like having a home from home but with sunshine. The villa itself was very clean and set in lovely surroundings, where you can pick your own lemons for your vodka and tonic.The facilities in the kitchen and barbecue area make it ideal for eating in or al fresco around the pool area on an early evening with the sun going down. The owner of this villa called once we had arrived to make sure everything was ok and also a villa manager is on hand for any problems. I would like to say thank you to the owner for a perfect holiday.

This villa has everything that you could need for a holiday. It is very clean and well maintained, with an English agent should you require help. The owner will ring you to make sure that everything is ok, and if not he will arrange to sort out any problems-not that we had any! We have stayed here twice, as the location is excellent and the local amenities are very good too.
An excellent place to stay-very peaceful and secluded.
