Management and Car Hire:
We have a manager who is available at all times. A welcome pack of basic food items can be supplied, if required, at cost. Linen and house towels are changed every week. The pool and garden will be maintained once a week (normally Saturday). We have two cars for rent at very good rates, an Opel Zafira 5-7 seater automatic and a Smart Forfour 5 seater automatic, both with aircon.
Andalucia:
Local activities include swimming, golf (several courses are very near), tennis, walking, sailing, cycling, fishing, horse riding, wind-surfing, water skiing, mountain biking, aquaparks, amusement parks, and other attractions. Andalucia has many places to visit for sightseeing and shopping: Malaga, Torremolinos, Marbella, Fuengirola, Gibraltar, Seville, Cordoba and Granada.
Sport:
The Lew Hoad Tennis Club, horse riding, go karting and Mijas Aqua Park are all within 10 minutes drive. The beautiful ski resort of the Sierra Nevada is only 2 hours drive away (skiing from late November to end April).
Golf:
This entire area is a golfer's paradise with year-round sun and numerous championship golf courses within easy reach. Just inland from Mijas Costa you'll find La Cala North and South golf courses and the David Leadbetter Golf Academy. Also within easy driving distance are the famous courses of Valderrama, Torrequebrada, Alhaurin La Grande and Monte Mayor. There are nearly 60 courses in Andalucia and 30 are on the Costa del Sol.
Los Lagos Golf Course, Mijas, boasts two terrific designs laid out by Robert Trent Jones. Los Lagos, the original course built in the mid-1970s, is a flat, long championship course with waterhazards and large greens. Enjoyable for long hitters but also accommodating to those with a slice. Wide fairways with little rough means Mijas has become the most successful commercial course on the Costa del Golf.
