Mijas holiday villa: Mijas, nr Fuengirola

Everything about this villa was fantastic and I can honestly say that it exceeded our expectations! We had a large family group and ages ranged from 1 - 60. The villa was really spacious and beautifully furnished and maintained. It was our first villa rental experience, and we were a little uncertain of what to expect. The owner was always extremely helpful and left no stone unturned to assist us. Location is great and it's very easy to get to beaches, restaurants, shopping etc, provided you have a car. We also made trips to Gibraltar, Granada and Morocco whilst renting this villa. House managers were very helpful and friendly. They were always available to help and advise us, yet remained unintrusive unless called upon. Car hire and airport 'meet and greet' are available from an associated rental company. While we availed of this facility and found the 'meet and greet' very beneficial we would not do so again. Regretably we had additional charges made to our credit cards upon return, and despite several phone calls and emails we have YET to establish the validity of these charges. This was the only sour note on the entire trip and while a poor reflection of the car hire firm, does not detract from the positivity of the villa itself . If you decide avail of this car hire option, I suggest you pay cash.
We were universally pleased with the holiday experience we had, and the comfort and cleanliness of this wonderful villa played a huge part in that. We would have no hesitation in recommending this villa to friends, and would gladly return in years to come. The villa, the gardens, the pool, and the people were all beyond reproach. They only thing we'd do differently next time is the car hire.
