Large marble entrance hall, guest cloakroom / toilet. Six spacious bedrooms-two upstairs with own balconies, 4 downstairs opening onto flower bedecked patio with fountain, (A/C available). Four full bathrooms (bath, shower, toilet) Extra toilet. Huge living room with fire-place in main villa salon with satellite TV, VCR, Stereo CD player. Dining room, large, well equipped kitchen - gas, electric, microwave cooking, American fridge/freezer, drinks fridge. The laundry room has washing machine plus all ironing facilities. Internet, floor safe . Swimming pool 33'x 17' has optional pool heating with wide gentle steps into shallow end, equipped with diving board & slide. The pool house, situated close to the pool has toilet & shower rooms, shady bar, gas & charcoal BBQ's. The villa is a haven of comfort, peace and tranquillity

The 'white' village of Mijas is approximately 20 minutes from Malaga Airport and 7 minutes (car) from the nearest beach at the coastal town of Fuengirola. The area where our villa is situated, in the foothills of Mijas, is renowned for its tranquillity, away from the hustle/bustle of the town and has easy motorway access to Marbella (20minutes) and Gibraltar (70 minutes).Granada and the skiing areas about 2 hours travel .

Everything about this villa was fantastic and I can honestly say that it exceeded our expectations! We had a large family group and ages ranged from 1 - 60. The villa was really spacious and beautifully furnished and maintained. It was our first villa rental experience, and we were a little uncertain of what to expect. The owner was always extremely helpful and left no stone unturned to assist us. Location is great and it's very easy to get to beaches, restaurants, shopping etc, provided you have a car. We also made trips to Gibraltar, Granada and Morocco whilst renting this villa. House managers were very helpful and friendly. They were always available to help and advise us, yet remained unintrusive unless called upon. Car hire and airport 'meet and greet' are available from an associated rental company. While we availed of this facility and found the 'meet and greet' very beneficial we would not do so again. Regretably we had additional charges made to our credit cards upon return, and despite several phone calls and emails we have YET to establish the validity of these charges. This was the only sour note on the entire trip and while a poor reflection of the car hire firm, does not detract from the positivity of the villa itself . If you decide avail of this car hire option, I suggest you pay cash.
We were universally pleased with the holiday experience we had, and the comfort and cleanliness of this wonderful villa played a huge part in that. We would have no hesitation in recommending this villa to friends, and would gladly return in years to come. The villa, the gardens, the pool, and the people were all beyond reproach. They only thing we'd do differently next time is the car hire.

This year we'll be spending our 4th holiday at the Hacienda de Amor. We are a family of 12- ages range from 6-76 and we all absolutely love the villa.
It is very comfortably furnished, with a well equipped kitchen and large bedrooms and bathrooms. Even though we are a party of 12- it never feels crowded, the lay out ensures privacy if you want it. The villa is maintained and cleaned to an extremely high standard and has all you could ask for and more!
The location is fabulous; peaceful, with beautiful gardens and a lovely pool( which can be heated)
The House Managers, Tom & Jacky are there to meet us on arrival. They are so helpful, but without being intrusive.
Once we arrive at the villa, we find it hard to tear ourselves away- but Mijas is close by with some good restaurants and supermarkets a 10 minute drive away.
This is a fantastic villa-
