Perfect place to relax and unwind.

Just returned from the most relaxing time I've had in ages. There were 8 of us staying in this large, well equiped, homely villa. A mix of family and friends. Plenty room to sit together in either of the two lounges or by the pool. But also lots of space to spread out and have time to yourself. Even at full capacity of 14 there would be plenty space for all.
Garden is beautiful, sheltered from the wind and peaceful.
Lots of useful information left by owner for local places of interest, taxi nos, car hire, maps etc.
Nice restaurant / friendly bar at bottom of hill - 5 or 10 mins walk away. They do a lovely all you can eat carvery on a Sunday - perfect for taking the whole family or group out and an 'early bird special' the rest of the week. Other restaurants and supermarkets are only another 10 -15 mins walking distance further away. Hyper market is 10 mins in the car.
We walked down to Fuengerola sea front from the villa - it took a slow amble of about 50 mins, again it's only 15 mins in a car.
If you are willing to walk 25 mins to the train and bus station in central Fuengerola , then there is little need for a car to tour around the area. Train to airport is only 2.10 euros and there are lots of other stops - Marbella, Torremollenos, Las Palmas, Seville and Granada or Malaga all about the same cost. Nice clean trains, not busy even at 'rush hour'.
Lovely view from the pool - exactly as in the photos. Rooms are also exactly as in the photos- clean, well decorated, plenty of towels.
Washing machine and drying area on roof is very handy.
Be aware that the local shops all shut all day Sunday and at siesta time (2-5pm). Bigger supermarket 20 mins away remains open during siesta, but not on a Sunday. Sea front shops and cafes are open all the time.
I thoroughly recommend visiting Villa Meyers. We're certainly going to return.
