'Las Tres Fuentes’, The Three Fountains, is a stunning three storey villa designed and built in elegant Andalucian style to the highest standards. Surrounded by breathtaking views of the countryside and mountains it is a wonderful and oasis in which to relax or as a base for activities, including walking, horse riding, caving, climbing, bird watching, painting etc. Only a short stroll into the village square, where you will find a bakery, pharmacy, banks, restaurants, bars, and other day to day necessities. The beautiful historic town of Ronda is 15 minutes by car. Our agent is based in the village, where internet access is available in his office for our guests. Montejaque, a pretty Moorish white village with narrow streets and whitewashed houses is situated in the stunning mountains of the Sierra de Grazalema Natural Park. It is an ideal centre for walking, wild life, bird watching, cycling, horse riding, rock climbing, or for the less energetic just chilling out! The locals are very friendly. All necessities can be found in the village, two banks, both with ATMs. A medical centre, bakery, grocery/mini supermarkets, chemist, and a wide choice of places to eat and drink. Just 10 - 15 minutes away from the villa is the lovely town of Ronda. This is a historic and fascinating town, full of character and has good shops and numerous places to eat. Near by are other beautiful and interesting pueblo blancos for you to discover.

Further afield: Costa del Sol with many sandy beaches, Marbella, Puerto Banus approx 1hour. Costa de la Luz approx. 1 hour 30 min. Good sandy beaches on Atlantic coast including the famous wind surfing Tarifa. Many golf course approx one hour from house in and around Marbella area. Also a course at Antequera (30min approx). Ideally situated to explore other pretty pueblo blancos, towns and cities by car. Sevilla, Málaga, Jerez, Cádiz and Arcos de la Frontera, under 1hour 30 min. Ronda has many wonderful bars, restaurants ranging from simple tapas to Michelin star, shops and the famous bullring and gorge. Locally, in Benaojan you can visit the Cueva de la Pileta; these are caves with prehistoric paintings. The Roman amphitheatre at Acinipo.

Special interest holidays: There are many opportunities for walking, bird watching, horse riding, climbing, pot holing, cycling or even hot air ballooning. The surrounding countryside and wonderful light provides an ideal backdrop for painting.

Getting there: Travel Airports: - Malaga (1 1/2hrs), Seville (1 1/2hrs), Jerez (1hr) and a little further Gibraltar. Car hire essential, we can help with hire car recommendations.

This really is the perfect location for a holiday. There is plenty to do in the area whether its ambitious, long distance hiking; visiting the many pueblos blancos or larger towns; driving in phenomenal scenery or simply lazing by the pool.

All the information provided by Roz meant that we were able to make well informed choices on what to do although we weren't able to fit in everything that we would have liked. Roz' information on local restaurants was spot on; we particularly enjoyed the Mill at Estacion Benoajan. It provides a lovely setting and excellent food.

We also took advantage of the station nearby at Benoajan to take a train trip through the Grazelema country park. The scenery was breathtaking and the pueblos blancos at each station stop are a real picture.

The villa itself is so well designed; the accommodation offers plenty of room for 8 people and the different patios mean that you can always find sun or some peace and quiet, if that's what your after! The views are stunning and the design of the villa allows you to make the most of these. It was all so comfortable and you could choose to relax at the villa for the entire day and follow it up with a good meal in the village, which is only a few minutes walk away, or spend a day out and come back to cool off in the pool.

We can't recommend it highly enough, and having visited in August, can see that a return visit at a different time of the year, would offer us another wonderful holiday.

Splendid, luxurious villa near beautiful Ronda

We (me and 5 friends, age 29-32) spent 8 days in this villa at the end of May 2009, and what a great time did we have. A rental car is a must! We went for a relaxing holiday and the villa had it all! We spent 4 days in the villa, just sunbathing near the pool. The water was cold, but in the hot sun (25 - 30 degrees Celsius) it was very refreshing to take a quick dive. At the end of the holiday the water warmed up and we could spent more time in the water.

Montejaque is a typical, yet quiet little village. We were lucky that there was an anual festival that we visited. Within a 15 minute drive is Ronda, a beautiful, vivit little town. Nice restaurants as well! We also visited Sevilla and Cadiz (1,5 hour drive). Sevilla is a must-see!!!

Overall it was a perfect visit to Andalucia. The villa is modern, but with a lovely Spanish character. Bedrooms and bathrooms (3!) are splendid. And what to say about the living-room and kitchen, just perfect and with all the luxury you wish for. Our favourite spot was the sundeck on the top floor. Beautiful views and perfect spot for sunbathing and breakfast in the sun! We can recommend this villa without the slightest hesitation! If you're looking for a place were you can party all night long, then you have to look for another place.

We had a fabulous time at las Tres Fuentes. It was eveything we wanted very spacious, clean and well maintained. The pool was brilliant and didn't contain too much chemical, much kinder on the eyes!!! We would recommend El Patio as a restaurant in the village, the food was excellent and service was also.The nearest supermarket(large one) is on the industrial estate just outside Rhonda(10 miles away). We also had to visit the medical centre in Benojan, the staff were very helpful as were the chemist staff in the village.A very relaxing time was had by all, we would certainly recommend this villa.

We stayed for a week at this beautiful villa, which is located just a few minutes walk from the centre of Montejaque. Three of the bedrooms are on the ground floor and open out to the lovely pool area, and the master bedroom leads onto the terrace upstairs with gorgous views down to the valley below. The rooftop terrace was also a fabulous suntrap until the sun set behind the mountain around 8.p.m. Montejaque has several bars and restauants, and there are also some great restaurants at nearby villages, all detailed in the information pack which the owner, Roz, very kindly provided, and which was a great help in ensuring we made the most of our week. I would recommend this villa, and this location, to anyone looking for a relaxing holiday and a real taste of Spain.

A wonderful villa in a great location with stunning views. That's the quick summary. You could go into much more detail about the quality of the facilities and the friendly, helpful owner but suffice to say we'd go back without question. Anyone who thinks Andalusia is all about beaches needs to see Los Pueblos Blancos. Thanks again from all of us.
