Casa Monte Clara is located in the hills of Andalucia within a 10 minutes drive of Lake Vinuela and 5 minutes to the white washed traditional village of Riogordo with its bars and shops. The house has been furnished in a very traditional style and enjoys breathtaking views of the national park and village. The property has a large entrance hall/lounge/diner and a fully equipped kitchen. Outside a shaded patio awaits, where you can dine and enjoy the pool, sun terraces and views. You are surrounded by olive groves and almond trees. The area is wonderful for simply relaxation, exploring Andalucia & walking. The beach of Torre del Mar is 20 mins. Malaga 35mins and Granada within an hours drive.

Casa Monte Clara has one double and one twin bedroom.It also has the option of two single sofa beds in the lounge area. The kitchen has everything you could need for your stay.The pool is 7m x 3.5m and has a large patio area. There is good access from the main road and a well made shingle track for the last 1000 metres. Help is always there should you have any medical problems during your stay. The 24hour medical centre is a 5 minute drive. Baby sitting available at local rate. Maps and brochures of interest supplied. Linen and towels changed weekly.Beach towels not supplied. Log burner for winter lets in Lounge area and free standing heater for your use.

LOCAL INFORMATION

Here you will find the real Spain and the scenery is breathtaking. Suitable for those people wishing to holiday in tranquil surroundings, but being not far from local Spanish restaurants and bars in the numerous white washed villages. Most of the bars and restaurants locally, are family run and provide good food at good prices. You can visit the hill top Village of Comares with it's fantastic views of the sea, yet still unspoilt by tourism. The local villages each have a weekly market. For those wanting more shops and facilities the town of Torre del Mar is 20 minutes drive away. There you will find a night market in summer months and uncrowded beaches.

Casa monte clara is just lovley, everything you nead is there for you, if you love rustic rural this is the place for you. there is a neighbour close by but only seemed to appear at w.ends which was quite nice as it is very quite the rest of the time except for the odd farmer and his tractor and the the odd car every now and then. The pool isnt to big but enough to splash around in and keep cool floating on a lilo ect. the views are to die for as the sun comes up & goes down you see somthing differant every time you look , you dont get tired of the view . you do nead a car as the walk to the local village is a bit steep but saying that the local goat hurder does it and he looks 80 if a day so maybe we were just lazy !
we didnt realy use any resturants as we loved to eat outside the villa using the bbq .the village has all the bits you nead the butchers was nice and the supermacado had all the bits you neaded , the chemist was very good when i was'nt to well and the doctors was very helpfull you will nead E111 and take a photocopy off it as it will be required.
The owner Lisa was on the end of a phone if we required any help she sounded lovley but we just passed in the wind sadley didnt get a chance to meet. this is a realy lovley place to stay and we will be going back.
i would recommend this to couples mostley its romantic quite and away from it all but only a car drive away to any bars ect you may want
