Two stylishly furnished villas in beautiful countryside close to Ronda

Los Olivos and La Cancela are set in a beautiful, tranquil valley just 5 minutes to the north of Ronda. The houses are part of a 4 acre property with beautiful landscaped gardens and orchards of olive and citrus, walnut and almond, quince and medlar. From the villas there are spectacular views of the Sierra de las Nieves to the east and rolling farmland to the west. Both villas have been luxuriously equipped and furnished. Bedding and mattresses are top of the range, all furnishings have been stylishly combined and all equipment is of the very best. Each house has its own independent entrance and its own beautiful pool, which are secreted away amongst exuberant gardens. These are no ordinary rental properties and the villas reflect the owners love of the Better Things in Life. There is masses of space for families. Both houses have airy lounge-diners with comfy sofas and Casablanca style fans. Each villa has a large area of terrace for al fresco dining. WIRELESS INTERNET AVAILABLE.

Los Olivos has three large double bedrooms, all of them with their own bath or shower rooms. The lounge/diner is a light and airy space with views out across the landscaped gardens and pool. Terracotta floor tiles have been offset by bright Moroccan rugs and there is an eclectic collection prints and artefacts. The abundance of objects from the Magreb reflects the owners love of North Africa (they take guided tours to Morocco). There books, magazines, games etc. and all guests have access to the owners own vast collection of videos and DVDs. Outside on the terrace is a BBQ area and there is plenty of shaded terrace areas to escape for lazy siestas. The house has been featured in several Interior Design magazines. This is also a supremely comfortable house; the embroidered bedlinen is top of the range and the whole house is maintained to the highest standards - the owners have been involved in the hospitality business for many years.

Los Olivos and La Cancela are just a ten minute drive from Ronda, one of Europe's most spectacular hilltop towns. Ronda's beautiful historic centre contains many churches and elegant mansions dating back to the 15th century. To the east of the town is the pristine Sierra de las Nieves National Park, recently declared a Unesco Biosphere reserve and just ten minutes to the west is the Grazalema Park, home to some of the most diverse flora and fauna in Spain. A series of traditional 'Pueblos Blancos' (white villages) are all within easy driving distance. The walking here is amongst the best in Europe. There are many restaurants and typical 'tapas' bars very close to the farm and awaiting you at Los Olivos and La Cancela you will find a booklet listing the owners' many favourite eateries. One of Europe's most spectacular train lines runs close by and a highlight of any stay here would be to take the train journey through deep gorges south from Ronda. Sevilla and Granada are close by.
