Caleta de Velez is a quiet resort with a beautiful, clean beach and promenade stretching around the coast and joining up with Torre del Mar. It has a pretty marina and still maintains a small, traditional fishing fleet. The town of Caleta itself is well serviced with supermarkets, banks, restaurants, bars and shops. There is an 18-hole golf course literally 5 min drive away and another just 15 min drive away. Just 10 mins by car is a large shopping mall and food court. Nerja is approx 20 min drive away.
