Newly built villa in a picturesque, rural setting, overlooking Torrox village. The fully air-conditioned and heated villa stands in its own secluded plot and has space for several cars, plenty of terrace area for sunbathing and a beautiful swimming pool. Inside, the living room with its own dining area is spacious with plenty of room for 10 people. There is also a separate breakfast room, next to which is the kitchen, which is fully equipped with a separate utility area. Appliances include a built-in electric oven, gas hob, fridge-freezer, microwave, washing machine and dishwasher. The en-suite master bedroom has its own private terrace with steps down to the swimming pool. Two other bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms and there is a family room with twin beds and two large bunk beds. There is even a CD player and satellite TV for your convenience.

Around 40 minutes from Malaga Airport, the villa is a short drive or fifteen-minute walk to Torrox. The village has a well-stocked supermarket, gift shops, hair salons, post office, banks, and tapas bars and restaurants, which serve excellent, reasonably-priced food under the orange trees in the beautiful plaza. The beach at Torrox Costa is only a 5-minute drive away. There is also a local bus service to Torrox Costa from Torrox village, which also has a good variety of supermarkets, restaurants, bars and shops and an excellent blue-flag beach. The well-known holiday resort of Nerja, with its famous caves and beaches is only 10 minutes away by car or local bus. Scenic roads lead to the whitewashed villages of Frigiliana and Competa and to Lake Vinuela. There is large, modern shopping mall ten minutes away at Velez-Malaga and marinas at La Caleta and Marina del Este, while the more energetic will find Baviera golf course just 15 minutes away from the villa.

  • Jan Feb March Oct Nov 4 weeks or more £700 +electric.(4consecutive weeks)Due to a significant application of mid week bookings we have agreed to alter check in and departure dates to Thursdays so that clients may achieve a great reduction in flight costs. This alone can cover the cost of accommodation. There is a digital safe, pool is cleaned and checked several times p/week if extra cleaning is required, it will be arranged at a direct cost to the renter.
  • High chair and cot are available free of charge for one child only additional cot/chair will be charged at cost. A welcome food pack can be arranged and delivered at cost for clients who may arrive after shop hours. We have a basic pack, but requests for specific items may be taken.Four supermarkets on main coast road 4kls away
  • Beach toys for children and pool inflateables are available free of charge.Since this photograph the pool terrace has been extended by 8 square metres.

Outside the Villa: From the spacious terraces you can relax and enjoy wonderful views of the mountains, sea and village. A sunbathing terrace with an outside shower surrounds the kidney-shaped swimming pool, measuring approximately 8x4 metres. There is also a barbecue area and a range of sun loungers and patio furniture. There is additional shade provided for those hot days. For more views of the villa, please do not hesitate to contact the owner of the property

To help save a great deal on flights we have changed our arrival and depart days from Saturdays to Thursdays, it can give a saving of up to 55% on some flights.

Had a great time. Villa spacious and comfortable and clean I was a little concerned at booking a villa privately and not using a travel agent, but I needn't have worried everything was good David and Janet were very helpful even with only a couple of days notice, and they responded immediately to my emails. Good spot for touring from as lots of places within an hours drive. Beaches close by about 10 minutes. Car essential. Private, no close neighbours- so very peaceful. Relaxing holiday. Pool a little chilly (late October) but very clean and pool area very clean. Kids loved it and felt very at home. Local tourist info office very good and lots of good places to eat. One week wasn't enough We would definately go back and recommend it.

Beautiful Villa in Tranquil Location

Having taken villa holidays for the past 20 years, myself and my husband can say without precedence that this is one of the best we have stayed in.

Jan and Dave are very welcoming and nothing is too much trouble.

The villa was spotlessly clean, well maintained and well equipped. The master bedroom had a proper luxury divan bed, which is very unusual in villa rentals. The only derogative comment we would make is that the sunbeds were a little uncomfortable and so would have liked to have cushions to lay on, but apart from that, absolutely nothing wrong.

The Sky TV package was great as we didn't miss the Soaps!

The Torrox area has loads to do and we especially enjoyed the Valez Malaga shopping complex. Would also highly recommend a trip to Peurto Banus to see how the other half live and Marbella without question has the best shopping!

Nerja is beautiful but a lot larger than we remembered, but well worth a vist, as is Friglianna.

Overall we had a fantastic holiday, we felt completely at home at the villa and didn't want to go home.

We will definately be making a return visit in the near future and will also be recommending it to friends and family.

Close to the real Spain - plus all mod cons

Apart from the rather steep and narrow access tracks, which are thankfully not that long (and fortunately we did not meet a vehicle coming the opposite way at the wrong place), we had a most enjoyable stay. Both Torrox village and Torrox Costa are within easy reach by car, and Torrox village can even be reached by foot by the more energetic. Nerja, the jewel of the coastal area, is a little bit further away, and well worth visiting. The villa is extremely spacious and well equipped, with everything within on the one level. Our hosts, David and Janet, were most helpful. There were a couple of minor problems which were quickly resolved. It is highly likely that other members of the family will be taking a week's holiday at the villa during the summer months on our recommendation. Give us The Axarquia any day, compared with other parts of the Costa del Sol.
