This 3 bedroom property is set amongst almond trees on a plot of 2 acres, renovated using local craftsmen the property has all modern facilities, but retains the charm of a traditional Finca Farmhouse. Sky TV, DVD player and CD player are all in the villa. The pool is ideal for the whole family with large terrace.

Although the setting is rural, only 5 minutes drive away in the small hamlet of Pastelero there are two excellent bar/restaurants serving a wide range of delicious Spanish dishes, and a bakery. Villanueva de la Concepcion is 10 minutes away in one direction while at the same distance in the other Almogia clings precariously to a hillside. Both villages have many small shops, bars and restaurants. There are markets in Villanueva on Monday mornings and in Almogia on Tuesdays. The magnificent El Torcal national park, just above Villanueva , offers walking routes around and between intriguing rock formations. Twenty minutes away on the other side of El Torcal is the historic town of Antequera with its magnificent architecture, many fine churches, Moorish castle, Dolmen caves, Roman ruins, bullring, shops and golf course. The Antequera-Malaga motorway is 15 minutes away with easy routes to Granada, Cordoba, Seville, Ronda and the coastal beaches. Malaga is less than an hour away.

Hire Cars: This is a beautiful hilly region of Andalusia with exceptional scenery ,due to this we recommend cars with an engine size of 1.4l. or more. Especially in the summer months as some power is lost with the use of air-conditioning.

The villa was set in a lovely and quiet location which was ideal for two weeks of total relaxation - the kids and us really enjoyed the swimming pool and the villa was well equiped with games etc... a nice touch was the welcome pack, wine and fresh flowers! Would recommend this villa to any of our freinds and family.
