Villa Maroma for summer rental- with private pool is situated 15 minutes from the beach, and has amazing spectacular views of Lake Vinuela. It is an ideal place for those seeking a walking/relaxing holiday in a private house, yet close to the beaches and town amenities. The property is detached but divided into two and can be rented as a whole unit or just the three bedroom house for smaller groups. The top half has 3 bedrooms with 2 bathrooms, a lounge/dining room and large modern open plan kitchen. The lounge opens out onto a huge terrace area. The lower part of the property consists of 1 bedroom and bathroom, a large lounge, dining and kitchen area, together with its own terrace seating area for relaxing meals. The pool is surrounded by a large sunbathing area, and of course looks out over the spectacular view of the mountains and lake. There are 3 good restaurants within walking distance of the Villa, and an excellent modern shopping centre is just 10 minutes drive away.

Lake Viñuela lies in the heart of some of Andalucía’s most spectacular scenery and in the Axarquia region, which boasts many white-washed Spanish villages dotted about.. Thankfully, as the lake is a reservoir, no motorised craft are allowed. You can enjoy sailing boats and canoes and fishing , with a permit, is allowed. Scattered around the southern end of the lake are picnic areas, each table complimented by a barbeque and all with fantastic views of the lake and mountains behind. The local beaches stretch along the whole of the coast. During the summer the various villages around the lake have their fiestas, where free food and beverages are served at various times throughout the day. This unspoilt area of Andalucia is untouched by mass tourism and surrounded by National Park, being designated an area of outstanding natural beauty.

Notes to the rental rates

  • PRICE IS FOR THE 3 BEDROOM HOUSE. IF THE APARTMENT IS ALSO REQUIRED , THE PRICE WILL BE 250POUNDS PER WEEK MORE THAN THE ADVERTISED PRICE. THE APARTMENT IS NOT RENTED ON ITS OWN, Changeover day is Saturday. Guests are asked to vacate the property by 10am on the day of departure and not to arrive before 4pm. To secure the booking, a non refundable 25% deposit is required, with the full balance due 8 weeks before departure. Payments to be made by a Sterling cheque. A deposit of £250 per rental is also required to be paid when the balance is paid - against the possibility of damage/breakages, non returned keys etc. This amount will be refunded in part or full, within 2 weeks after vacation.
    In the event of cancellation within 4-8 weeks of departure, where we are unable to re-let the villa, we will retain 50%. For cancellations 2-4 weeks before departure, we will retain 75% of the rental value. For cancellations within 2 weeks of departure we will retain 100% of the rental
  • This property is ideal for six people sleeping in the main house , with the facility for a further 4 people in the 1 bedroom apartment. When the apartment is not needed, it will remain closed throughout your stay. The property is only ever rented to one party of people at a time.
