The large open & covered terraces lead to the superb 170 sq meter completely self contained accommodation furnished to the highest standards with unmatched facilites. Sole use of the solar heated pool, pool house, Jacuzzi, table tennis, superb outdoor kitchen, where you can dine alfresco under the vine covered pergola and the stars. The stunning open plan accommodation has a fully fitted kitchen with an American fridge/freezer. The sitting/dining area seats 6 comfortably. There are large windows and French doors to take advantage of the stunning views. The Master Suite has a 4 poster bed and a Chroma therapy/Jacuzzi bath, French doors open onto the terrace &, of course, the views. The 2nd Double Bedroom has its own en-suite shower & French doors opening onto the side terrace and, of course, the views! Local attractions: This special part of Spain is perfect for a 'get away from it all' type of holiday. There is excellent walking & biking nearby, or why not just sit by the pool, drink in hand & soak up the tranquillity whilst taking in the wonderful scenery? All types of non-motorised sports are allowed on the lake, including swimming, fishing, windsurfing, canoes & sailing. There are plenty of nearby attractions including: Horse riding, hiking, mountain biking & bird watching. There are 2 lakeside restaurants nearby & there are lakeside BBQ facilities. Torre del Mar (20 minutes) is a typical Spanish seaside town & apart from the beach, shops & bars, there is a Waterpark. Near Torre there is also go-carting, a cinema & ten pin bowling within a large shopping Mall (El Ingenio). In the surrounding villages there are plenty of ferias/festivals especially during the Spring & Summer months & these are a fantastic chance to get to see the real Spain & enjoy the Andalucian hospitality.

Weather: The Costa del Sol is renowned for having over 300 days of sunshine per year. Daytime temperatures average from 16C in January to 29C in August. In springtime the surrounding area is carpeted with wild flowers. There is also a wealth of birdlife to watch, including if you are lucky, buzzards & eagles from the nearby National Park.

Golf and Other attractions: Golf: There are two excellent 18 golf courses nearby, Baveria Golf (20 mins) Tel: (0034) 952555015 & Club Anoreta (30 mins) Tel: (0034) 952404000. Other attractions: The Caves at Nerja (35 minutes), & the Nerja Donkey Sanctuary (35 minutes), the Alhambra Palace in Granada (90 minutes), the Seirra Nevada National Park (20 minutes), the Wolf Park (35 minutes), Quad Bike adventure trails (35 minutes) &, of course, the frenetic activities of the Costa del Sol from Torremolinos to Estepona, taking in the famous upmarket resorts of Marbella and Puerto Banus (75 minutes). The Picasso Museum is in Malaga (50 mins). There are also numerous colourful markets along the coast & in the inland villages.

MAY08 - What a wonderful holiday we have just had at CasaMaria. Having followed most accurate directions, we arrived to discover a first class villa with the most breathtaking of views. Accomodation was spotless and finished to a very high standard. Everything has been thought of. We all, (dad,mum and 3 girls - 2 1/2 ,8 and 11) had a fantastic time. Transport is essential to travel to neighbouring towns and villages. However, we also enjoyed staying put due to the extreme comfort of the villa. Lots to do with pool, hot tub, table tennis, boules etc.. We would have no hesitation in recommending CasaMaria as a wonderful base for an idyllic hoilday in Spain. In fact. we would hope to return ourselves! Thank you Keith and Marie for an excellent holiday - your care and attention was second to none.

Outstanding accomodation

Photographs do not do this property justice as the accomodation and location are absolutely first class.

Our teenage son's loved the pool, jacuzzi, table tennis, the Wii and the fact they could still chat to friends back home thanks to internet access. (They brought their own laptops)

The outside kitchen was wonderful and had a wealth of cutlery, plates etc, therefore, we enjoyed many evening barbecues under the vine covered pergola which had really funky lights.

The apartment was spotlessly clean and beautifully presented. The owners have successfully provided everything you could possibly want or need to just be able to relax and enjoy your holiday even soft white fluffy bathrobes.

The owners are very helpful, welcoming and not intrusive.

The views are outstandingly beautiful and due to the location very tranquil. Torre Del Mar is about 30 mins drive away, this offers the closest beach it also has a long promenade which comes alive in the evening with many locals and spanish holiday makers going for a stroll or having a supper, so consequenty has many restaurants. Aquavelis is the waterpark close to Velez-Malaga which is great fun.

However, if like us you are just after peace and tranquily whilst enjoying luxurious accommodation in a breathtaking location then this is the holiday for you. I promise you that you will not be disappointed. The only fault we can find is the fact that everything else from now on will be a very poor second.

A beautiful house with a wonderful view. Alltough the weather wasn't always that good, the house offered us more than enough possibilities to enjoy our day. Keith & Marie are very nice and did their upmost to feel you more than welcome. If we have the possibility we definitely will return next year. If you really would like to a relaxing holiday book this house. Highly recommended to everybody of all ages.

I have stayed in many villas in Spain but this is certainly the best yet. They have thought of everything that makes your holiday stress free. The children loved the pool, table tennis and games that are available and because they are occupied that leaves you to relax. The out door facilities makes this villa one on it's own and the photo's do not do it justice. We stayed in most nights as the setting is beautiful and the hot tub just finishes your night off. I would definetly go again and I would recommend to anyone who is looking for a relaxing holiday, excellent views, brilliant accomodation and also has restaurants a short drive away.

Best Vacation Rental Yet!

We have stayed in holiday rentals throughout Europe, and this one was the best by far. The house was wonderful with lots to do (pool, table tennis, boules, games) for us and the kids. Every detail was taken care of down to the fluffy towels and robes. Keith and Marie are excellent hosts and have done an outstanding job with Casa Maria. I have already recommended this house to all of my friends and co-workers. We highly recommend it to anyone wanting a relaxing experience in Southern Spain. We hope to visit again one day.
