Breathtaking panoramic views over the beautiful Lake Vinuela, magnificent Mount Maroma and the Sierra Tejeda mountain ranges, Villa Maroma is the perfect spot to enjoy the scenic and peaceful surroundings in comfort. With an 8m x 4m swimming pool, porch, patio areas and a private sun terrace to enjoy the views and the weather, Villa Maroma is fully equipped to a high standard. Inside there are ceiling fans in the lounge and bedrooms. The large master bedroom has an en-suite, there are two further twin bedrooms plus a family bathroom. The kitchen is fully equipped and the lounge area provides satellite TV. The villa is on a hilltop location just a few hundred metres from the access road to the local village, the slope is concreted so access is easy with a normal hire car. This is a quiet rural location in the Andalucian hills where wildlife is commomplace.

Nearest Beach: beach at 10.0 Miles

Set in a splendid position with breathtaking views overlooking Lake Vinuela and the highest mountain in Andalusia, Mount Maroma, 2000m high, with the surrounding Sierra Tejeda mountain range. Villa Maroma is an easy 45 minute drive from Malaga airport or 75 minutes from Granada. There are lots of activities in the area to keep all ages happy. The closest beach is just 15 minutes away at Torre del Mar, where there are also restaurants, a water theme park and a large hypermarket, shopping centre cinema and bowling facilities.. There are many restaurants and bars close to the villa on the lake, and in the villages of Los Romanes and Puente Don Manuel. There are several golf courses closeby. The villa access is easy so a 4x4 vehicle is not needed although a hire car is recommended to enjoy the area.

  • Arrival time 4pm; departure time 10am. Saturday is usual changeover day. However, changeover on other days may be possible for some weeks. We will try to be flexible. Please enquire for options. Discounts for early and multiple week bookings, and low occupancy. A deposit of 20% is payable to confirm the booking. The balance is due 10 weeks before arrival together with a security deposit of £200 which is refundable on departure. Rental rates are subject to change without notice until confirmed.

Access: Situated on a hilltop location, easy smooth access with slope concreted, just a few hundred yards from the road to Los Romanes village. Some British residents nearby. Several restaurants within a few minutes, one walking distance (with wireless internet connection). Internet cafes nearby. This is a quiet rural location, situated in the Spanish countryside where wildlife is commonplace.

I stayed at the villa in early summer (31/5/08-7/6/08) - this being my second stay .
The villa is set in a really great location with lovely views of the nearby lake and mountain. The villa itself is clean, comfortable, quiet, and private - satellite television and a pool mean there is readily available recreation. Local towns/villages, the sea and countryside are all easily accessible.
I have really enoyed myself at the villa and would have no hesitation in highly recommending to others.
