Spacious 2 bedroomed villa, set in 5000 square metre plot. Private terrace overlooking breathtaking views of the lake and mountains beyond. Built 2003, well appointed and insulated accommodation, cool in summer and warm in winter. Ceiling fans to bedrooms. Air conditioning unit in main living area. Large SOLAR HEATED Pool 10m x 4m with plenty of room for sitting/lounging or sunbathing but with a well shaded area for those with more sensitive skins. Also a pool table and a gas fired barbeque. Ideal for a relaxing holiday either for couples or for a family, yet with good facilities for other activities within short driving distances.

Casita Julia' is situated close to the edge of Lake Viñuela, in beautiful surroundings some 15 kms inland from the town of Velez-Malaga and adjacent coastal resort of Torre Del Mar, and within 50kms of Malaga airport.(and now about 80kms, but with easier access, to Granada airport, served by Ryan Air and Monarch). Many other tourist attractions on the Costa Del Sol, such as Nerja Caves, Selwo wildlife park to name but two, are within easy driving distances. For the more adventurous - Granada with its famous Alhambra Palace, Cordoba and even Seville are within reasonable distances.

  • A. Weeks each side of Easter will be charged at a premium rate of 600 Euros per week. Our Preferred changeover day is on a Friday or Saturday, if possible, BUT WE ARE FLEXIBLE on this to accommodate cheap flight times. Please FEEL FREE TO CONTACT US FIRST TO DISCUSS DATES. Special terms may be negotiated for longer letting periods and also pets may be considered.
    B. The stated prices are based on 4 people sharing- additional persons will be charged at 10€ per night.
    The villa is suitable only for a maximum of 6 persons plus 1 additional child.
  • Terms of payment are 20% deposit with reservation and balance due 30 days prior to date of arrival unless agreed otherwise at the time of booking.
  • NOTE LAST MINUTE REDUCTION FOR THE REST OF SEPTEMBER.

Notes: There is a large comfortable double bed settee in the living room, in addition to the two bedrooms. A maximum of 6 can be comfortably accommodated, although an additional camp bed can be provided for an additional child. Guests are requested to provide their own towels for visits to the beach. The owners, Chris and Julia originally retired from running their own holiday cottage complex in Derbyshire, UK and now provide the ideal alternative location here in Andulucia. If you require a starter pack of essential foods and drinks, we will be happy to purchase these on your behalf awaiting your arrival. There is a full sized pool table located in the pool area to keep the youngsters and fathers happy. A recently added extension to the side of the cottage provides a new entrance lobby with the second shower room/toilet.

'What a wonderful way to holiday, it had aspects to be enjoyed by all the family. The location is beautiful, with an overwhelming aura of relaxation about it. Perfect for any weary Mum and Dad! The warm pool was given a thumbs up by the younger members of the party and many hours were spent enjoying it to it's full potential! Visits out to interesting places were enjoyed by all. Our hosts were extremely friendly, kind and helpful and no doubt we will keep in touch with a view to a return visit. We all 'fell for' Hamish, so much so we now have one just like him of our own!
(They are due back Summer '07 for another visit, and to meet Hector our new ShihTzu.)
