Montejaque is another pueblo blanco, positioned in the foothills, partially hidden by rocky outcrops and overlooking fertile valleys filled with colourful groves. The narrow streets are too thin for most cars, so the village is best explored by foot, especially the Plaza Constitution, which comes alive on a Thursday for the weekly market.
