San Antonio holiday apartment: Cala de Bou, San Antonio Bay

The apartment changed owners just before we arrived but the new owner is a pleasure to deal with. We were made very welcome and the apartment was great for our holiday. 6 of us stayed for a week and had a fab time. The apartment had everything we could possibly need and was plenty big enough for 6 people. The views and sunsets from the balcony are amazing, and there is a chill out bar just across the road great for drink while watching the sunset before heading out for the evening. The cala de bou resort is a short walk away and the water taxi into san antonio itself is cheap and quick, or a normal taxi is not expensive.
The pool and gardens at the apartment are kept spotless and are great to relax in. Ideal location for families or groups that want to be close to san antonio but still have some peace and quiet. Would definitely stay here again if going back to Ibiza.

Myself along with 6 other travellers arrived at the apartment around midday. Following the earlier information and receipt of the keys it was a straightforward process of getting into the apartment, as we were a little early the caretaker, who is very friendly and helpful, worked round us to ensure everything was tidy and ready for our stay.

The apartment is a nice size, in a nice location and with lovely sea views. The pool area isn't too busy and there are adequate sun loungers. The terrace is nice and big and the air con is definately a necessity in the summer months, although the bedrooms were still a little stuffy.

In respect of the apartment itself, the kitchen was large and had everything we needed, the lounge area was light and airy with the extra air con unit making this the coolest area in the apartment. The apartment is designed for 6 people although we had a extra bed put into one of the rooms for the 7th person. The middle room (which was for the 3) was tight with the third bed and perhaps would have been better in the end twin room as there is more space in this one. Both bathrooms are fine, the ensuite being the nicer of the two with a window and natural light. The double room is quite small but adequate for just sleeping purposes, the only downfall during our stay was that the blinds in two out of the three rooms were broken which meant that there was no air or natural light in the double room and no access to the balcony in the end twin room. I would stress that it would have been alot nicer if these blinds had of worked as during the evening a lovely air runs through the apartment which we found out from the only opening blinds in the middle room.....

Overall, this is a lovely apartment to stay in and I would definately think about staying there again (as long as the blinds are all in working order).

We just had the most amazing holiday and what a way for Craig to remember his 30th birthday! The apartment couldn't have been more perfect, size and location and the contacts the owner gave us out there couldn't have been nicer and more accommodating! Also, the recommendations for places to eat and visit were also so appreciated. The experience has made us question whether to book a hotel holiday again, it was so nice having a home from home!
