This property consists of a large bedroom and living room with a balcony over looking Mambo, Cafe Del Mar and the beach. Just a short distance from all the sunset bars such as Coastline and Sun Sea, these bars offering pools, free sun beds and resident DJ's playing fantastic music all day. The beach is steps away and in the evening, the idea is a simple one, you sit by the shores of the bay and admire the stunning sunsets to a backdrop of ambient and eclectic music provided by the DJ's in the bars. With fantastic restaurants a stones throw away and the West End 10 minutes walk away this apartment offers a location to suit all your needs.

The apartment is situated at Vara Del Rey, 38 (2nd Floor) and is conveniently located in the west end of San Antonio, next to the legendary chill-out spot Café del Mar on the sunset strip and Cafe Mambo where the most famous DJ's air their programs during the summer season. The beach is just steps away and in the evening, the idea is a simple one, you sit by the shores of the bay and admire the stunning sunsets to a backdrop of ambient and eclectic music provided by the DJ's in the bars. The simplicity of the event and the pleasure one takes in the perfect combination of scenery, beautiful weather and the wonderfully chilled music, make every sunset a special one. San Antonio is just a few minutes walk away, and this is where you can find all types of restaurants, pubs, discos and shops. No location could be better: serenity during the day, action at night and the wide ocean in front of your eyes.

Additional information about rental rates

  • £100 non refundable deposit on booking.
    Upon arrival a refundable breakage deposit of €300 or £250 must be paid which will be returned to you on day of departure or refunded into your bank account. This is on condition that everything is in order and nothing is either broken or missing.
    On arrival guests may enter the apartment from 2pm and on the day of departure guests must vacate at 12pm to allow for cleaning . Remember if you are arriving on a late flight or in the early hours the apartment will have been reserved from 3pm so this will be classed as your first night.

We stayed at this apartment for one week during July/August 2009. The apartment is perfectly located, with side-sea views that show the shore and the promenade between the legendary Mambo and Cafe Del Mar.
There is a great balcony, with seating for four, that looks out onto the buzzy sea front, perfect for sun set and people watching.
This apartment is perfect for those who want to experience San Antonio and all it has to offer, when wanting to stick to the classy side of town. Everywhere, including the West End (should you want to) is within walking distance. But the bars surrounding the apartment are where everybody really wants to be; Mambo, Cafe Del mar, Sahara, Kanya...the list goes on.
This is, quite possibly, the best equipped holiday apartment I have ever stayed in. They even have a garlic crusher!
Take your own tea bags, as with any foreign holiday, but there is a reasonable supermarket within walking distance and the house-keeper is always willing to help with directions etc.
Don't worry about the lack of air-con, there are a plethora of stand alone fans and a dehumidifier. We also slept with all the windows open and were never bothered by noise.
Kerry and Lee are really helpful and they keep in contact throughout the whole process.
We all agreed that we are definitely going to use this apartment again in the future.

Location of property was fantastic. Only bad things about the apartment was the lack of air conditioning, however i knew there wasn't any before i booked it, and the fridge didn't really work properly. Drinks weren't kept very cold.

Other slight downsides were the washing machine handle was broken so couldn't really use it and the stereo system CD player only worked now and again.

Would definately recommend this property to those wanting to see the sunset and DJ's every night.

Property was well equiped, but a supply of toilet paper, soap and household cleaning products would have been good

Overall though, I thought this was a great apartment and would defo use it again.
