April House is a very attractive Ibicencan style rustic cottage situated in a quiet rural location outside the charming village of Sant Josep yet only a few minutes by car to many beautiful beaches.It is surrounded by local countryside with its own pool offering fabulous views down to the sea. Privately located within the grounds of beautiful Halcyon Villa (4350). It has its own parking, pool, pond, & BBQ area set amidst palm trees & countryside.Lovely sea views from the pool. The property is decorated, furnished & equipped to a high standard. The bedroom is very large, double aspect; with a king size four poster bed & double doors leading directly to the pool.There is a lovely wood burning stove for those evenings in, & large radiators to ensure warm & cosy nights. The village is 2 minutes by car, has cafes, bars, restaurants, church, post office, banks, pharmacy & little boutiques.April House is the perfect place to unwind, relax & enjoy Ibiza with a home from home feeling.

  • The shower room is attractive, with a large double shower.The shower is powerful and as you would hope for, not just a trickle of water!!! Also the water is from our well and is not salty as many villas are on the island.Therefore you will feel refreshed and not sticky after showering.The pool is the same water too!

Many will make up fresh 'bocadillos' for your picnics.Go cycling for the day around the small island of Formentera, just off the coast from Ibiza town, and discover even more remote beaches, white sand and aquamarine sea. Ibiza is a great way to escape, try it! Sant Josep is one of the prettiest villages on the island with it lovely white washed church and attractive cafes and restaurants. There is also a bakers, small supermarket, post office, banks, pharmacy, doctors and dentist plus small boutiques and elegant gift and art shops.

We had a wonderful week in April House - it really is as it says on the tin...but so much better. Very romantic and unlike many similar places, it was rustic yet included all modcons such as a fully equipped kitchen! The pool and setting were also fabulous. Do make the walk into the village in the evening - it takes only 10 min, far less time than you'd think and, equipped with a torch, we felt quite safe walking on the pathway to the side of the road. The owners of April House recommended some really lovely local restaurants - so do listen to what they say.

We spent an incredibly relaxing week at the wonderful April House cottage and wished we could have stayed longer! It is a little "out of the way", but that's the way we like our vacations. The view is amazing and there's a lovely deck to enjoy your morning coffee from. The owners are helpful and attentive but stay out of the way unless you ask for assistance. We recommend this place very highly!

We've just spent a superb week in April House & it's so different to many other places we've stayed. It's homely, quirky, peaceful & private with lots of space in the accommodation itself, and such a lovely area around the pool & garden. A world away from a purpose built holiday villa, it has all the charm you want for something different. Very close to all you need & far enough away from all you don't! Highly recommended.
