A peaceful retreat

Three friends and I stayed at this apartment and it was ideal. Located about 20 mins from the airport, it is situated next to a fantastic boutique hotel where the staff were so friendly, the food was great and the pool was a god send in the heat. There is also a sweet little beach about 10 mins walk away. The apartment is spacious, tastefully decorated and has a fantastic large terrace with sea views. We all agreed it was just what we were looking for, a peaceful retreat to relax during the day away from the mayhem of San Antonio, but accessible enough by car/taxi to check out the nightlife. The only downside was the unfriendly neighbours who reprimanded us for chatting too loudly and playing (chill out) music at 7.30pm!! When they weren't around, it was perfect. And do note that the hotel don't offer a maid service (unless you pay extra), so in 4 days our apartment wasn't cleaned. It's up to guests to empty their own bins! But aside from that, the apartment is lovely and I would definitely consider staying there again, especially with such a nice hotel on the doorstep. And the owner was extremely helpful, friendly and communicative. Highly recommended.
