Carved into the hillside between Cala D'hort and Cala Vadella, the spacious Casa Luna y Sol mixes modern with tradition and is a perfect hideaway with stunning sea views. The villa is ideal for groups and is great value for money with 5 bedrooms & 5 bathrooms sleeping 12 people and is spread over many levels. The large roof terrace is a sun trap with a shaded chill-out area and the main house with 2 bedrooms & 2 bathrooms has a big living room with leather sofas and Sat TV/DVD. A light and airy dining room leads to a large fully equipped kitchen and the large private swimming pool and terrace with sun beds, sea views and a shaded seating area and BBQ for al-fresco dining. The master suite with bathroom overlooks the pool - the previous owner was a record producer and some VERY famous people have used this room as a recording studio. The lower level is a spacious self-contained apartment with a lounge with sofa, Sat TV, an open plan kitchen and a further 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.

The villa is situated on the hillside between Cala D'hort and Cala Vadella on the south west of the island near to the famous mythical landmark of Es Vedra. There is a good supermarket wiithin 5 mins walk and the local village of Cala Vadella is only 5 minutes away by car and has a superb beach with shallow waters, good restaurants and cool beach bars. Ibiza Town with it's cosmopolitan attitudes and world famous clubs is 20 minutes drive away and the lively San Antonio with it's sunset cafes is only 15 minutes away by car. The uber-fashionable beaches of Las Salinas, Es Cavallet (nudist) and Cala Jondal with their a-list beach bars are also only 20 mins drive away. A private driver is available (payable locally).

Excellent value, very spacious, great pool!

I stayed in this villa in 2007 and am pretty surprised that it looks a bit cheaper now than it did then!
There was really nothing bad to say about it - we went a little bit out of season but that was our fault, the villa itself was superb. You'll need a hire car to get there (don't you always!) but the resort itself is beautiful.
You enter through a gate at the top of the villa - really onto this huge roof terrace with a covered area where we had our little parties at night - and into a cute courtyard. the lounge was ample for 10 of us with big bedrooms, a gorgeous master suite (which I won the fight for!) and a really lovely pool.
We are SERIOUSLY thinking that we need to get back to Ibiza again this year and, after staying in a hotel last year, I think we'll have to go back to Luna Y Sol.
Recommended for:  Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway

I have just come back from this super villa where me and my friends had such a great week. It is such a clean, chilled place with superb views that all we did was sunbathe and relax around the pool for the whole week. Also cant believe what value for money it was. Definitely recommended, see you next year!

Went to this villa last year with a big group of friends and we all had a great time. Villa is massive and the pool area is fab with a BBQ and views. Would def recommend to large groups of friends who want a big place in the sun.
