(15 mins to Ibiza Town). Halcyon Villa has been featured as front cover & center pages in the Mail on Sunday. As well as hosting celebrity clients this house is ideal for discerning families wanting home from home comfort in a safe & quiet location. The villa is surrounded by almond & fruit trees, lush lawns & palm trees. The attractively shaped, private pool is stunning & framed by a large sun terrace leading from the house. High quality sun loungers & garden furniture. The garden lighting & BBQ area creates the perfect ambiance for evening dining (large table seats 10) or a swim. This Ibiza Villa is quietly located just 2 minutes by car outside the lovely village of Sant Josep, one of the most beautiful on Ibiza & in the southern part of the island. Sant Josep has all the amenities you would need, from banks, to a bread shop, Post Office, pretty cafes, boutiques and high quality gift and home interior shops, jewellers & not to mention, some good restaurants. Only 15 minutes from Ibiza Town & no more than 10 minutes from the sea & many beautiful beaches. The villa is the perfect base for visiting the whole island or for just chilling out by the pool enjoying the beautiful surroundings. Beaches such as Cala Jondal are 10 minutes drive & 15 minutes to Salinas. Cala Conta is just 10 minutes & Cala d'hort with the amazing Es Vedra is 15 minutes away. The villa is within easy reach of many superb restaurants not least a good pizzeria used by the more discerning locals!! KM5 is only 5 minutes by car & the lovely private restaurant ' Can Domingo' is close by too.

  • 2008 RATES APPLY FOR SUMMER 2010 !! Please check availability; email in the first instance. We will reply within 6 - 12 hours. The standard rental rates based on 10 people sharing. Reductions may be offered for smaller parties to a minimum of 6 people. Included in the price is electricity,water, linen & bathroom & pool towels, pool (cleaned Saturday and Wednesday), gardener weekly. Regular Housekeeping. Linen change every Saturday. Towel change Wednesday & Saturday. Damage/security deposit to be agreed & paid with balance (minimum 1.500 GBP) returnable after villa is cleaned. Arrival is after 15.00hrs and departure by 10.00hrs. Bookings are from Saturday - Saturday. One week bookings accepted.
    - Welcome pack upon arrival with cold drinks, bottle of red wine, milk, selection of teas, fresh coffee, crisps and olives, oils, pasta, condiments. Arrival concierge shopping service available with prior notice.

  • Each bathroom is light and spacious with Kenneth Turner of London body products for your enjoyment during your stay. The water is straight from our well as is not salty, as many villas tend to have on the island. As such you will feel clean and refreshed after a bath or shower at Halcyon (or even after a swim in the pool!!). We provide both pool and bathroom towels and also hair dryers. All bathrooms have windows to the outside, one bathroom has sea views and the other two have lovely views of the garden, pool and Sa Talaia behind. The master bathroom is ensuite and features a large double power shower. The second bathroom is shared between two bedrooms and the third between the final two bedrooms.

Each bedroom has its own state of the art air conditioning unit, efficient yet quiet. All bedroom curtains are fully lined & of high quality so when you wish to sleep it will be sufficiently dark & cool. All bedrooms feature different colours and wall hangings to give a feeling of luxury & individuality. A four poster bed is offered in the second double bedroom, along with wonderful sea views & a private terrace creating a lovely ambiance. The third double room has a new modern low level king size bed, again with complimenting wall hangings & super views over the pool. Facilities.: The large attractively shaped pool is approx 12m x 5m & surrounded by lush lawn (quite unusual in Ibiza). Close by are several beautiful beaches, our favourites, Cala Conta (good fish restaurant), Cala Bassa, Es Cubells (good little restaurant), Cala Hort (spectacular sunsets on the beach & on the cliffs above). Good family resorts are Cala Vadella & Cala Moli, shallow water, restaurants & amenities. Breakfast is available on request @ 12.50 euros per head, & should you like to take it easy around the house during the day or evening, we can offer you in house dining by the pool or BBQ area with waitress service. Just ask us for a selection of great menus! All bed linen, towels and pool towels are provided (changed weekly). Also hairdryers. A/C included. Regualr Maid Service. There is a friendly family restaurant/ bar located 2 mins from the house and a good Italian pizzeria just 1 minute further on. Then just a little further is El Mirador restaurant. All walking distance.

Children.: Baby sitting is available please enquire for details. The villa sleeps 10 adults but we can also accommodate upto 2 additional infants/babies.

this villa is outstanding and location great. the pictures do not do it justice at all. its a quiet haven from the late nights out and will soothe that hangover away. the owners keep the gardens manicured and feeling lush. would highly recommend this to anyone and hope to return one day

My husband and I and our two best friends have just returned from a most wonderful stay at Halcyon: a first time villa and Ibiza experience for all of us and one which we will definitely repeat.
Halcyon is your ultimate 5* super villa, situated in idyllic, tranquil, perfectly-manicured palm-filled gardens with stunning views of the coast. Secluded and tranquil yet perfectly positioned to take a advantage of all Ibiza has to offer; all the best beaches and restaurants nearby and Ibiza town a short drive away.
The villa itself was immaculate and everything you could want or need catered for including a fully stocked professional kitchen, a beautiful covered outdoor bbq area with more picture postcard views down to the sea, luxurious bathrooms and bedrooms alike and of course the all important swimming pool which we lazed around most days. If you like outdoor living Halcyon has that extra-special feel aswell, with top of the range outdoor furniture both by the pool and under the exotic canopy attached to the house where we would lounge on the sofas having long lunches!
MaryAnn and Steve, our hosts, were terrific and made our holiday extra special. We will be going back!

Being a Ibiza veteran (early 40's!) we are always very careful about chosing our villas for holidays on the island, especially with 2 small kids. Halycion is a real find and we have already reserved for next year. The grounds are outstanding and well protected, and the interior is also of a very high standard with lots of good space. The kitchen is by far the best kitchen I have used on my stays and the owners are clearly foodies so no need to worry about utentials. My only advise is that if there are 2 couples staying make sure you bag the master bedroom as its amazing, though all other bedrooms are great and of equal size.
Finally it is great to have Maryann close by as she nver gets in the way but is always available to help out with any questions or give restaurant tips....A great stay !

Quality time at Halcyon

We have stayed in the villa already 5 times and highly recommend it! Our children also love it, since there is plenty of space for them to play and explore, or to go for nice walks. The owners take very good care of the property and of their guests. It is a fantastic place to just relax and enjoy life. Because of it's very good location, many good beaches and restaurants are in easy reach. Also the airport and Ibiza Town are relatively close by. We are again returning! Renate & Maarten

Relaxing and comfortable

We stayed at the Halcyon Villa in September 2008 when we came to Ibiza for our sons wedding and really enjoyed our stay. The villa was clean and very well equiped. The owners were staying in the casita next door and while not intrusive were on hand to assist when required. The cleanining lady came 6 days out of 7 and was particularly friendly. A car is definately required as although it is reasonably near the village of St Joseph I would not recommend walking, particularly at night as there are no pavements and no street lights. Hope you find this information helpful.
Owner's Response: We are of course delighted when our guests have a great stay and I remember this family well. I was asked to arrange for a bouquet of flowers to be on the bed in the master bedroom for when the Mother of the Groom arrived which I was delighted to do! It was an emotional moment and so lovely. We always recommend our guests hire a car even though we are so close to the village of Sant Josep. They are so cheap from approximately 20 euros a day (taxi from the airport to the villa approx 20 euros) and give you the independence to explore the many stunning beaches and little village hideaways and superb restaurants at your leisure. We can arrange for a chauffeur car on those special nights out too!
