The house is cleaned twice a week.

  • The large master bedroom and its en-suite enjoy their own private terrace, accessed by sliding doors that disappear into the wall to allow maximum light and air into the room. You can admire the views of the valley from your bed. Bedroom 2 is airy and cool with a high ceiling and air conditioning. It has a double 'lit-bateau' bed. Bedroom 3 is simple and elegant with original terracotta tiles and 2 solid wood single beds. There is a good sized dressing room accessed via the bathroom which could be used as a further bedroom for a child if required. Bedroom 4 is very pretty with a double bed. This bedroom is on the ground floor and opens directly to a large terrace and the gardens. Bedroom 5 is typical Ibithencan style with twin beds and a dressing room to the side.

The salon is very large with comfortable seating for 10 or more people. The high ceilings ensure it always stays cool in the summer months and there is direct access to the garden via large glass doors. A large open fireplace and full central heating make for romantic winter breaks. Recently refurbished the huge, modern country style kitchen has marble worktops and handmade tiles. The preparation area has a large Smeg oven and hob, dishwasher and microwave. The dining area, with exposed original stonework has a large country dining table and dresser. A spacious utility room off the kitchen houses a large fridge/freezer, washing machine and dryer. There is direct access to the outside BBQ and dining area from the kitchen.

Pool and Gardens

The separate pool area has a beautiful 8x4m mosaic lined pool, teak loungers and a shaded area with a fridge. The gardens are stunning with mature Date Palms, Lavender, Pomegranate, Fig and Apricot trees. The large lawn is ideal for garden games and the Balinese bed is perfect for an afternoon siesta. A large terrace, with views across the valley, on the ground floor has a sofa, 2 armchairs and a mosaic table. There is also a full size table tennis table in this area. The large outdoor dining area, easily seating 10,with built in BBQ is situated next to the kitchen.
