Puerto Alcudia is situated at the North West tip of Mallorca. It has a long, fine sandy beach, and is within a 20 minute walk of the historic town of Alcudia, with it's medieval walls and roman ruins. The Albufera, a marshy wetland, is a wildlife reserve popular with birdwatchers and is a ten minute drive away. The spectacular mountainous region in the west of the island towards the old town of Pollensa is within a 15 minute drive, and the cosmopolitan city of Palma is just 50 kilometres
