This attic studio features a full width picture window opening on to a large, sunny terrace with exciting views of all Alcudia Bay from an elevated position. Its location is close enough to the very popular resort of Puerto Alcudia to enjoy its comprehensive amenities but is completely insulated from the busy holiday scene. All land & sea sports are readily available-superb golf courses, tennis, excellent waterside & mountain walks, water skiing, snorkeling, windsurfing & boat hire plus swimming a few minutes walk away or from one of the many beaches in the area. A variety of restaurants & shops, including several supermarkets are within easy reach as is a twice weekly market in the interesting old walled town of Alcudia. The self contained accommodation has a large double bed, sitting area, kitchenette, spacious fully tiled shower and separate WC. To enjoy the full potential of your holiday a hire car is advisable & can be arranged to meet you at Palma airport 45 min drive away.

Alcudia, the original Roman capital of Mallorca, is a delightful traffic free walled town with natural stone faced houses lining its narrow streets and a large market area. It has its port 2 kms away which like the town has good parking facilities and a huge variety of restaurants, tapa bars and shops. The traffic free waterfront looks on to the smart Marina, the fishing port and the harbour with daily ferries to Menorca (1hour) and the Mainland (4.5 hours). It is the start of a six kilometer long white sand beach with very safe swimming. Alcanada is a superior residential area close to the port with its own quiet waterside walks offering swimming and a select waterfront restaurant. It has probably the finest golf course on the Island (Trent Jones designed). Nearby are the other interesting towns of Pollensa, its Port, and Sa Pobla, a farming area untouched by tourism. Albufera Nature Park is also very close and offers delightful walks, birdwatching and wonderful photo opportunities.

The studio at the top of the house has its own separate entrance apart from the main house. The house itself has an elevated position approached by easy steps from road level and further outside steps lead to the studio. Hence the unsuitability for wheelchairs and the elderly or infirm.

Other activities

The resident owners, while happy to give you the benefit of their many years in Mallorca, well understand that you may take satisfaction in finding your own way around. If requested pointers on eating out, shopping, places and events of interest, and so on, are available. Pretty well every holiday activity is very well catered for in the immediate area, especially those connected with the water. For these Alcudia Bay with its beaches, secluded bays, Port and Marina is excellent in every way. A day ferry trip to Menorca, a scheduled boat trip or the hire of a windsurfer, power or sailing boat may appeal. Help on classic and lesser known walks of varying length and difficulty will gladly be given.The high season months are too warm to enjoy these but the rest of the year is perfect. Birdwatching has long been one of the delights of Mallorca, a migratory stopover from Northern Europe, and a nearby nature park with established hides is dedicated to this

Golf Information:

Year round golf is available on Mallorca's 17 golf courses. Arguably the finest is at Alcanada, barely five minutes drive away from the property. Clubs, trollies, buggies and lessons are available. The delightfully situated clubhouse enjoys a magnificent view which is shared by many of the holes. It is available for non players who may want to eat or drink there.
